I visited this park on April 8th, 2024 to see the Total Solar Eclipse. This park was well maintained and very clean, even with the thousands of people who were visiting. Plus for an added bonus for any railfans looking at this. It appears a local Canadian Pacific line runs right through the park. I don't know how active the line is, but I did get to see one train...

This is a very pretty and tranquil but often windy park winding along the lake in Newport, VT. Off in the distance to the left the fall colors is Quebec side of this very large lake that most of it is in Canada but Vermont gets a nice chunk of the southern most part. Long winding path, bridge and paved path stretching nice distance to exercise and enjoy...

This is a beautiful little boardwalk area close to the border with Canada. It has great views of the lake, and you can walk all around. There's also easy access for kayaking and canoeing. It's clean and well maintained, and there are some sitting places/picnic...

Came to this park to view the solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024. They have some pretty nice views and a very relaxing atmosphere. Main street being around the corner is a huge plus as there are many family owned restaurants and shop to support the local community!

Not that big of a park but for sure it will revitalize you to see the beauty of the lake. The Newport bike path pass through here and it also has a short boardwalk. This is a donated land, please see image of the good man who made this park possible.

This is a beautiful little boardwalk area close to the border with Canada. It has great views of the lake, and you can walk all around. There's also easy access for kayaking and canoeing. It's clean and well maintained, and there are some sitting places/picnic tables as well.
