City Cinema — Local services in Newport City

Went to see Dr strange multiverse of madness. The prices are pretty fair. They're overpriced of course, all theaters are, but it wasn't so bad that I felt like sneaking snacks in or just going without. Plus the ticket prices are very reasonable.

The screen looks great and the sound sounded clear but with a definite impact that really punctuates scenes with loud moments. The chairs are comfortable enough that I wasn't uncomfortable by the time the almost 2 and a half hour movie was over. The staff is really friendly too. It's a pretty decent theater. I'm glad that it's so close. I hope they're able to stay profitable and I'm glad they were able to survive the pandemic after being closed for so long. It's refreshing to go see movies again rather than just waiting for them to...

The back of the seats are way to high even for adults , you have to sat way down in the very front row, & its way more expensive than other theaters, & other theaters are better seating! They thought that putting new seating in because the old seats were bad , but the new seats are not that comfortable, sorry & price is higher than other theaters, you leave there spending at least$ 25 to 35 dollar for two easily, & that just. 1 large popcorn. & 2 drinks , way to prices , its cheaper to travel to St. Jhonbury...

Overall experience at this movie theater was very good. It's a upgraded older theater done well. It's was clean and the seats were comfy and the movie was clear and the sound was perfect. The snack area had plenty to choose from from popcorn to candy to soda. The bathrooms were clean too. The staff working were friendly and nice. If you want to see a movie with friends,family or a date absolutely no reason...
