Vista Food — Local services in Newport City

For those who have the privilege to say that the employees and customers here are “nice” I envy you. My family, friends, and I stopped going to this grocery store because we can’t do something as simple as shopping without being discriminated against. My mother and I had a bad experience with employees, especially when we were in the deli section of Vista. We were waiting for MINUTES trying to get the employees attention while she took other customers (even though we were there first). The employee said “can you move?” And when we said “excuse me? We’re here to order” she looked shocked for some reason. For ordering deli meat? This is just one example out of many others. I will be taking my money and business elsewhere. Do better and educate...

Great people. An amazing staff. They really want you to have a wonderful experience. They carry everything you might need. The deli is phenomenal. The convenience is 10/10. On site beer wine selection is hands down the best in the area with craft beers from VT. The wine selection is actually impressive for the rural feel this place has. 802 liquors in store has the best picks for any enthusiasts. If you ski/board. This is where you stock up for Jay peak. Wow! I found food items here that I couldn't locate in other food stores. I don't live in the community, but I see a constant stream of customers, even when just driving by. It's centrally located within downtown Newport. They always have enough cash registers available. Staff mill about to answer customer questions and are very helpful. It's clean and organized with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. It's not so large that one is all tired out from shopping there....
