Also has basketball, baseball, and a skate park. 5 minute walking distance to the Newport Welcome center, a shopping area (with a pizza place), and a Wendys (bathrooms in all).

This is a nice location. The playground could use an update and it does not offer a lot. But if you like fishing and water activity this is a great location. Skate Park ok basketball court needs some love. Nice baseball and softball fields/Soccer fields under the lights.

Very nice park and playground for the kids. It would be nice to see it busy again, without all the riff-raff. Usually clean, and public bathrooms, picnic tables to sit at and enjoy just looking around, convenient for anyone wanting to fish. Plenty of tree coverage when it's real hot out and you...
