T Bar — Restaurant in Newport City

I wish this restaurant was in my home town!! EXCEPTIONAL customer service and food!! A very "chill" place! Heather was a great bartender who whipped up a great margarita and Manhattan! Sarah was an attentive server who was very friendly and accommodating! The food was also OUTSTANDING! Great taste, good portions, and reasonable prices! We started with stuffed jalapenos, then had the Asian chicken salad (homemade dressing was great!) and 4 piece fried chicken dinner. The homemade honey butter for the biscuits was special! We ended our meal with raspberry bourbon pie (with vanilla ice cream). Again, our entire meal was not only delicious, but a good value and we received outstanding service! What a find!!!!! Our go-to restaurant in Newport was closed today and we had heard good things about the T-bar, so thought we’d give it a try. It was beyond all the good things we were told!! The service could not have been better! We were immediately approached just after seating and checked on multiple times. The food arrived just as quickly-piping hot and DELICIOUS. I ordered sweet potato fries as an alternate with my shrimp and they came with a unique dipping sauce that was the perfect complement. The servings were more than filling- so I had to get my raspberry pie dessert to go. I am positive it wlll be just as wonderful as the rest of the meal. You will be warmly greeted as you walk in and if it isn’t your first visit, Coby or Heather will be making your drink while you’re finding a table. The food is amazing, the portion sizes are so generous, I always have enough for lunch the next day. The margaritas are the best I’ve ever tasted! But honestly they’re willing to make any drink you have a hankering for. Tina, the owner is often helping behind the bar, making her rounds catching up with people she hasn’t seen in a while or meeting people new to the area!
