Deli.. One star . Can wait 45 minutes 1 hr, don't even think about using the deli kaski . You can shop come back to get it after finishing shopping . Still not did your order. As you wait in line. To have your number called you look around you see manager's in groups walking around or pushing a cart and filling it with cardboard, Instead of getting back there and slicing meat, Terrible.. Meat dept one star, don't brother asking the guys filling the meat case where an item is they will look at you like your a freaking pain in their butt.. Or if a packaged meat item that is on sale and its empty in the case. You ask them if they have more in the back room . You dont even finish asking and the got the word "NOPE", WE OUT Geez terrible.. Terrible customer service, Bakery ½star I've heard more excuses why they never HAVE bagels (crunch or blueberry), don't even shop on a Saturday evening and think you are going to get bagels for Sunday MORNING.NOT HAPPENING! Grocery dept.. Seriously wow -2 stars, WHOMEVER IS DOING INVENTORY CONTROL SUCKS! I know it's a busy store but seriously, if you find the item that you use in your kitchen and you buy the last one don't expect them to have it back on the shelve for at LEAST a month, or the tag gets pulled and they will lie and say it's not on the order anymore.. Or it's not Available in this area.. Wow . Or they will promise you that I'll fix the problem and never gets fixed . Terrible terrible customer service . If you there to buy clothes or get your prescription filled thats 5 stars, Saturday evening make sure you grab a cart before you go in, because they are all in the parking lot. As you are checking out the cashier has to check her text messages between customers or carry on a conversation with the bagger as they are looking at their phone or carry on a conversation with a friend that came in to see them, I'm new to the area, and been shopping kroger's for years, but I've never seen anything like this, kroger's think they have you, if you live cincy, Newport, Bellevue, Ft Thomas Wilder, where do you go?.. I truly hope things get better,...

They donāt tell you they expect you to see a tiny hand written sign taped in the little money trap to put it in a rubber band. But the sign is underneath the slot not exactly somewhere you can easily notice to see and read. Not like directly on the front glass m, they donāt tell you⦠So when my money blew away it came as a shock considering I didnāt even know what pump I was on so I had talked to the cashier for a solid minute leading up. Iām not even upset money blew out Iām upset bc I saw what money blew out and what money didnāt so clearly some went into the booth but he wouldnāt even look ! Not only that after scraping change to get gas get home bc I left my debit card at home but after I walked away he is talking over the intercom as if I was rude after coming back with my blown away, money have to stand in line again and him not even look in the booth to see if the money that was missing was possibly behind him. He says well people shouldnāt just walk up and shove their money which I did not I walked up and I had to ask him where what gas pump was on. We talked about it. Use my Kroger points at any point in time he couldāve said you canāt just shove cash in there, maāam No, he we thought it blows all away and then says oh didnāt you see the sign what sign oh the one underneath the slot where the money goes? It was Absolutely ridiculous! I left there with my three dollars in gas and canāt help but feel like I just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, here's the thing. I don't like Kroger as a company and I also don't like Kentucky. That said, this is the best Kroger location I've ever been to. The Norwood lateral construction has made the Oakley and Hyde Park locations virtually inaccessible to me, and Kroger just lets their locations in the poorer neighborhoods be filthy and horrible, so I tried Newport, and now I'm just going to wait until after rush hour and go 'overseas' to this location irrespective of the Norwood construction. Huge selection, most things are in-stock even during sales, the store is very clean, the checkout lines are not long, they have the smaller carts and they're in a better state of repair than the ones in Cincinnati, parking is plentiful and not designed as such that someone nearly hits you every time you visit (Corryville hot mess, I am looking at you!). This location has yielded the best Kroger experiences I've had. Yes, prices are stupidly high despite record profits and they don't treat or pay their employees fairly, but the only cheaper place I've found is Walmart, which is the worst shopping experience available in my experience. One needs a support group after visiting Cincinnati Walmart locations. Too, the digital deal coupons can save you a ton of money if you have the Kroger app. It was like $35 off my my last...
