Newport Pavilion is a large retail & restaurant complex. It is conveniently located off of the I-471 freeway a few miles south of the Ohio river. The retail stores include Target, a Kroger Marketplace and Michael's. The restaurants there include Chick-fil-A, Flip Daddy's & more. There's plenty of parking and it is needed as the Kroger is always busy with customers. I have experienced good customer service at #target, #kroger and #michael's. I have used the #chick-fil-a drive thru several times. I am not sure that they have dining in service at this time due to #covid19. Several times the order has not been filled correctly so we check it before leaving for home. When it's open for dining the kids really enjoy the play area and the #chick-fil-a sauce is a must have favorite. Flip Daddy's has some awesome burgers and sweet potato fries. My dad likes coming here. I encourage you to check out other businesses you'll find at the #newportpavilion. Until next time be kind to each other. #goodfood #retailshopping #newportpavilion #target...
Read moreThe engineers who designed the parking lot need to be fired and the funding be returned to the developers. Although it is not the blame or responsibility of Kroger (Newport), the customers that shop here are the worst representation of humanity. Rude, unapologetic, entitled, self-absorbed (or obliviously engrossed in their devices), greedy, apathetic, and an accurate yet disgusting picture of what Newport, and ultimately the entire United States has become. That said, this store unfortunately caters to and panders this hideous clientele. This perpetuates and strengthens the cycle of alienating the humble and loyal long time locals. We don't want a dizzying array of unpronounceable, organic, gluten free, plant based foods we have only seen on Martha Stewart. We want what we used to get at Kroger. Healthy (or not!), local(ish), foods and ingredients we know and are comfortable eating and serving to our family. Alas, my rant is a moot point. Change is inevitable. Corporations will ALWAYS be concerned with their profits not their...

Absolutely love the Kroger - Target double team (even if my budget doesn’t 😂) with Michael’s tossed in for when I’m feeling crafty. I live in Cincinnati and until discovering this gem would pretty aggressively avoid crossing the river for pretty much anything other than a flight. But in true Cincinnati fashion, this is easily one of the best Kroger stores in the “Cincinnati market.” I was shopping at the one on Mitchell/Kenard 😖until COVID-19 had me on a desperate search for a grocery store that at least appeared to have some guidelines and customers who could follow suit - despite a “remodeling” (store within a store/prison commissary setup that has me anxious the entire time I’m shopping on top of the weird parking lot circus) have zero intentions of going back even after COVID-19 (hell no I won’t be giving up my Jarlsberg...
