Warren Park — Attraction in Newton

I was visiting my son, his wife and my grandson in W. Newton, from San Diego. This was the first visit to this park, my son had seen it driving by. I was very impressed by the grounds, lush green grass, and large play areas. One was designed for the younger children, who were out in force..it was a perfect day. I noted how safe the parents and grandparents seemed to be. One infant slept in her pram while mom played with her other 2 little ones. The children themselves we're impressive as well! Asking to pet our dog, to play with our glider airplane. Very politely. My son felt it was a bit over crowded, but it was a glorious day. Nice friendly folks. I'll go back next trip in...

Warren Park offers two large playgrounds, one for little kids, and one for bigger kids. There are 8 swings, 2 tire swings, a full basketball court, two baseball diamonds, a large sand box, a teeter-totter, and large grass areas with thick lush green grass to run around in. We love this playground. It has both sunny and shady areas. Plenty swings, a sandbox, toddler spot, plenty of different types of climbing structures, different slides, monkey bars, basketball court, seesaw, baseball field, and even soccer fields.
