This place is new and sounded good so I finally tried it.
Where to start? Front door. Try to open it. My kid can not, my wife struggled, I had to use both hands. Is it winter, cold, wind or just heavy door - I did not investigate and don't really care. If you manage to open it - it is like a wind tunnel. Chilly inside, so pick your table carefully. Strange as it sounds, best place is to the left of the aforementioned door. Pick closer to register - and you are in trouble - it BLOWS in February.
Staff at register speak and understand some English. We ordered half garlic glazed chicken and half north end pizza. Waiting time was longer than promised 10 minutes, but I did not complain, remembering "good things happen to those who can wait". Well, they didn't. In about 20 minutes it was crash landed on our table (waiter somehow managed to soil my jacket).
About the food. When 6 year old kid saw the pizza he literally started to cry and did not want any of it. You see, garlic chicken pizza is a wet mess (or mass should I say) which slides right off the dish. It is very hot (even according to my chilly pepper loving wife), so make sure you have water reservoir nearby. Forget about holding it: best approach to consume is a Burrito style - wrap it around and put in your mouth and bite in big chunks before it finds a way through your fingers.
Now, I am not a french cousin and can eat almost anything, but this pizza place pushed even my limits. It tastes like a bunch of disconnected pieces floating in a hot sauce. The other variety (north end) was in a slightly better shape. Overall, my experience...
Read moreOn 11/08/24 around 9pm me and my girlfriend ordered a lg cheese pizza with extra cheese and an onion ring. Upon receiving our order we opened the box to find the cheese has shifted to the corner of the box. We called the OWNER and explained the situation and he offered to remake the pizza. After waiting for the replacement pizza we spotted the delivery driver open the pizza box and go to his trunk to grab something to fix the 2nd pizza in his back seat. We called the owner to explain the new situation and he was extremely rude and justified his driver touching a ready to eat food with his hands or something he took from his trunk. This is very unsanitary. We asked for a refund and the owner refused. We ask the Wellesley residents and all future customers be aware of this. The picture that I will post with this comment is from my ring camera and it shows the driver with the pizza box open in the backseat. RESPONSE TO OWNER👇🏻👇🏻That is completely fabricated...
Read moreThis is my favorite spot that I frequent almost every Saturday after my morning business meeting. The portions here are epic and the price is too, especially given the area. I got the whole team into this place now and it's become our go-to for omelettes, subs, salads, pizza, breakfast sandwiches, and etc. And for my fellow New Yorkers, they have bulkie rolls here! This is the closest I've gotten to an NYC #Baconeggandcheese, so if you're looking for a fix that isn't on some whack toast or bagel, come through. Also, shout-out to the staff here as they are always super friendly, kind, and welcoming. Hands down a great place for a deal, tasty food,...
