Touhy Marketplace — Attraction in Niles Township

The parking lot was an afterthought when this place was put up. Especially the handicap parking spaces. I guess they think handicap folks don't shop. The spaces that are "out front" are really far from the doors. The cart corrals are a whole other issue! If they could get them farther away from the handicap spaces, I think they would. Although, this is an issue at most grocery stores. I just can't see why they don't put at least one cart corral in the very first space past the last handicap space. Do the stores really expect the same people who just parked no closer to the store than others and then shopped a "superstore" to then walk halfway down the parking lot to put away their cart? I guess it depends on their disability. The bulk of the handicap spaces are along the main entrance road to the parking lot which is so congested, at least around the lunch hour, that you have to cause more issues just to wait for a chance to pull...

The good news about Touhy Marketplace is Walmart. To an extent that is also an issue. People leave carts randomly in the lot outside of where Moe's Southwest Grill closed. Instead of where they belong. There are some great stores here. Love Jimmy John's sandwiches. Halal Guys. There is a Mattress Firm, Supercuts, T-MOBILE. Amour Nail. PNC bank. Just Tires. AT&T store location abandoned, empty. They moved across the street. Plenty of customer parking. It was reasonably busy in front of the little strip of stores. Walmart of course was packed. Busy. Close to many good stores ,like fresh farms , there you find a lot of products from everywhere, they have bakey ,food court, produce , licor ,deli department ,meats, sea food department with fresh fish and much more ,great prices by the way is little crowded but they have great deals,. Walmart is in front and you know what you can find in there , is one the best walmarts i visit in chicago ,jewel is across the street, Bed Bath and beyond, restaurants and much more there is a nursery across the street too if you have plans to start you garden soon , so i recomend you give it chance and...
