Well this is in reflection to being bored in the Lincolnwood mall since my sister was getting a massage which I also got at Art of health in the mall and then she went to a manicure pedi here please which I don't do or don't have the money to do it. Anyways my mom treated me to the food court and originally she wanted some other buffalo wings. I was going to order buffalo wings here but this would be comparison to k coop in Skokie Illinois. I didn't want to spoil my appetite since we are eating heavily at the famous Northwest suburb Chinese food restaurant called chef ping. Well this was serendipity because I saw that they had chicken gizzards. That caught my interest and was getting bored with the certain dishes I've been having especially from Korean and other Asian recipes and dishes. I kind of looked at this as equivalent to like eating bizarre foods like every other exotic dish since it's a part of a body of a bird. They had two recipes one with garlic and one that was hot and spicy that I asked how spicy it was in the cashier told me it was really spicy. So I settled for the garlic gizzards next to ordering lemonade and Sprite for my mom since she was the one treating me to keep our hunger a little low without spoiling our appetite. I didn't get a chance to take a picture because I felt like I was in kind of a hurry but after trying the garlic gizzards it was delicious and phenomenally unique and would come back here again for their gizzards. Very crunchy very flavorful and they give you a sweet version of some sort of kimchi that compliments with the gizzards especially the garlic one. The cashier also mentioned if I write a good review not only on Yelp but also on the Google which I'm about to do afterwards they will compliment me back. I would also compare their buffalo wings to k coop that I tried in Skokie with a friend in which we were both not impressed since they're both korean-styled buffalo wing cooking if not authentic Korean. I shall upload a picture once I make my comeback otherwise do try their chicken gizzards if you're looking for something unique...
Read moreThis place is really my go-to for some quality Korean fried chicken. Perfect for parties, dates, and others. CM Chicken is on fire! All of their food on the menu is really worth to try. I ordered the spicy chicken on their selection and also their spicy garlic burger. Hands down! The food I ordered was so extraordinary! I can still remember the exact taste and texture of it. It was so amazing! The chicken is so tasty, juicy, and it is so spicy. Also the burger I got, it is so meaty, the veggies is also fresh, and overload. I never regret I visited this place. This place is officially my new favorite place for chicken and burger. Their employees here are so communicative, decent, and friendly. They are always smiling and they really work so fast. They will serve your order right and in exact amount of time. They also creative in plating and designing the food in the table. Customer service is a top-notch. Definitely the best Korean food store I have ever been to. I have really found myself coming back over and over at this location. I also really want to explore more of their food and other flavors of their chicken. This place is everything! Really love CM Chicken! Thank you for giving us such an amazing experience and service. Will visit again soon when I have some free...
Read moreI always liked Choong Man Chicken, but yesterday's experience was horrible. I ordered 2 whole chicken, 1 snow chicken and 1 spicy online. I drove there for about half hour and my order wasn't ready and waited for about another 10 minutes. I got home (which was another half hour) and the main part of the snow chicken onions and sauce were missing. Then I called and told the lady that it's missing the onion and sauce, then she told me that i would be get refunded for the snow chicken but i was only refunded for the online service fee which was 6$ (the email i received later from slice said $6 service fee after their issued some kind of refund). I called again today and the lady who told me that she was the superviser i only get refunded for the onions and sauce which i am not even sure if i got refunded. She also told that owner is never there so i can't talk to the owner. She was insisting that 6$ was for the sauce and onion. I was really disappointed. Very unprofessional. It wasn't worth for what i paid for and driving there at all. I could have just got fried chicken near my house for a much cheaper price. Glenview location service is so much better and even chicken tastes...
