Inline Skating Club of America — Attraction in North Arlington

In my personal opinion, which is closer then most, I have only had the bad experience of emailing for almost a year to become a part time official as hockey is the best sport on earth. I was given the ring around for almost 1 year. I had to on 3 occasions ask what is the status (after being told the complete opposite) that a clinic would need to be gone through even though I have multiple cards and paying multiple times for clinics, each league is different. I never objected at all. But on that 3rd occasion, it was just the tipping point. Although I was not in it for the money, the pay rate is not nearly as competitive, but for more scrutiny. Basically the director is the main culprit from what I have heard from multiple sources with the power trip, not only to myself, but to paying customers. In an email with me, after letting him know I would review on what has transpired here on google. He actually threatened me to say I was being unprofessional and try to bring attention to other leagues, where im beloved and if not the most respected out of my way. I was sick, they were worried I left, the team was going to quit the league. So good luck with that one. Here is the email of the threat.

Decided not to watch a game based on the $15 admission at night. Either the location doesn't sell food and drinks, or they don't care if you bring in your own. The reason I say that is it is an extremely hefty admission. If the proprietors instead placed a bigger onus on its sales and donations, perhaps they'd have more business. On the other hand the location is likely intended for people who can afford that kind of money merely to watch a two hour game, and for that I have to give this location two stars.

I realize this may not be reflective of the locations business and of a group renting it out, in which case and regardless if a response is received to this review I will update it...

Took my daughter to the open skate today, and we had a great time! Shoutout to the girl who was running the front register as she was extremely sweet, professional and friendly wish I had gotten her name, but the staff I encountered were all courteous and helpful. My daughter has her own pair of rollerblades & was able to use them with no issues. I was able to rent a pair & was surprised how affordable it was. We got a water and pretzel and my daughter was begging for a second pretzel for the ride home. To sum my review, Prices were reasonable, staff was great! We will definitely be coming...
