For years, I've come here for the fresh produce and fresh fish. In the midst of a pandemic, i was here shopping for fresh fish on Monday 12/20/21. One of the fish handlers was hacking all over the place, sneezing all of which he never covered his mouth nor nose and not once did he have on gloves!!! I complained out loud to another worker. They started communication in Spanish not knowing, I'm fluent in Spanish!!! 1st of all, no one wants TO DIE NOT ARE WE INVITING YOUR GERMS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! IF I WORKED FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN ON SITE!!! IT IS FOR THIS REASON SO MANY PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER HERE!!! I AM VACCINATED yet that means nothing when people like this are Hasbrouck your food. BUYERS BEWARE. AND YES, I'M STILL REPORTING THIS INCIDENT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!! STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK!! POINT BLANK AND DO NOT HANDLE FOOD THAT PEOPLE MUST CONSUME AND HAVE...
ย ย ย Read moreI've been shopping at GSFM for several years when I pass through the area on my way to MD. I have always found the selection and quality of the produce to exceed that of my local grocery store, Shoprite. GSFM pricing has been especially good. However, in 2018 GSFM completed a long term store renovation. The facility looks much better on the outside and maybe somewhat better inside but afterward the prices went way up. The quality and selection are still there but only part of the price advantage. I can get better pricing at Shoprite about 40 % of the time now. I'd much rather have the unrenovated store and the great pricing. Do I still shop there, yes but nowhere near as frequently and my purchases when I go are about half what the used to be. GSFM is easily accessible off of Rte 1 southbound but is a pain to get to northbound. I would have rated the old store with its much better...

Itโs a good place to shop for a smaller household, as many items are sold per-piece/pound and you are not forced to buy big portions as common in the large grocers.
I think the store may have a relationship with other grocer brands regarding overstock. Iโve seen cheese with the Trader Joeโs font, and was surprised to see that they sell premium Bell and Evans brand chicken! This is the kind of chicken most commonly found in a Wegmans or Whole Foods.
The only downside, as some other others have mentioned, is that the produce is at peak ripeness or very near it. So if you donโt use it within a couple days, it is likely to go bad. Be aware and selective of the produce with...
