Last June 14th I went to Deezerland with my 9y old son. He wanted to drive a kart as he is used to do it in our country. Their infra looks good. Karts seems to have decent quality. My son was tall enough to use the Pro kart and they didn’t allowed him to use the children version. He was 1 or 2 inches taller than the limit. They oriented us to go for the adult kart (Pro). Briefing was conducted very fast with no attention to a tourist child that didn’t speak English as native language. They were on a hurry. No attention at all. No care. Race started and after two laps my child knocked the wall in front of me. His helmet was not properly attached and when he hit the wall the helmet was ejected. Due to the bounce movement he knocked his head directly to the kart back part without helmet. Seat belts scratched his chest. He automatically started crying a lot and crew on the track did nothing. They only moved to help him after me desperately requesting them to go there. It took more than a minute. Unbelievable. He had a lot of injuries in the back of his head and a giant lump. As a tourist I didn’t know what exactly to do. Lady from cashier asked if he was well because he was crying a lot. I said no and asked for the manager. When the manager finally arrived, a big and tall man, he was not worried, he was not supportive. He had a “I don’t care” face. I asked for a doctor or any similar support and he was not interested on us. Other costumers oriented us to call 911. I did so and I got a very attentive support from emergency team (picture of their trucks posted). In 5 min two or three trucks and cars arrived and we got proper attention. After my child was examined, got ice and medication, o returned to manager and he steel had a bad posture. He did not offer any special support, he did not offered money return or medical support. We had a very bad experience at this place. People are not prepared to deal with emergencies and/or tourists. If you have a child, don’t go there. Maybe we had bad luck, bud they are not ready to deal with bad luck consequences. To the management: please don’t bring excuses. Just train your team to take care of security and to have a plan to deal with problems. You offered me the worst service...
Read moreWe booked the Ultimate Celebration birthday package at Dezerland Park in Miami, and the experience was extremely deceptive and unethical.
We were charged $69.99 per child for several small siblings, ages four, five, and six, even though they could only use the trampoline portion of the package (almost $600 for kids who couldn’t use the main attraction of go-karting). Before the event, a staff member reassured me that in these cases the additional children would be charged per activity, with clear prices provided. Instead, we were billed the full package rate for these younger siblings. Had we known this policy beforehand, we would have planned the event differently. The staff held the arcade cards until we paid, putting us under pressure to complete the payment while a group of excited kids stood waiting. This made it impossible to review or question the charges in real time.
Service quality was also far below expectations. The food arrived more than thirty minutes late, and even the water came forty-five minutes after the scheduled time, leaving thirsty kids and parents waiting. When it finally arrived, the water tasted like sewer water—gross! The event coordinator was absent when needed, several systems were not working, and the staff seemed like a bunch of kids with zero enthusiasm.
This is not just about a misunderstanding. It is about integrity and reasonable judgment. A company that caters to families should not charge full price for services it cannot provide, should not mislead clients with verbal agreements, and should not use sleazy strategies to pressure parents into paying more than the fair amount. Just because something is technically legal does not make it right. It is clear that the owner is only in it for the money and has no values or integrity whatsoever, which is very sad for a family-oriented business.
Parents, BE AWARE. I highly recommend finding another place to celebrate if you want to avoid an unpleasant experience and end up paying 40% more than expected.
We came to Dezerland with the best intentions of celebrating and paying fairly for what we agreed upon, but we left feeling taken advantage of and deeply...

I’m happy to elaborate. We come here often, usually spending at least a few hundred dollars between the arcade, obstacle courses, trampolines and the race track. I have twin boys and they enjoy all of the attractions. Usually the go carts are a lot of fun. We would come, they would see how well the boys drive and let them race at a fast pace. On this visit / it seemed that they had changed the policy. Now, instead of keeping the races flowing one after another - they have a set schedule. We did not know this nor was it explained to us. I purchased three races for each Child at about 1:30pm. When we tried to enter the track we were told the next kids race was at 2:15. We waited. At 2:15 they finally got to race but the carts were throttled down all the way down. The speed was a joke, barely faster than a 12 volt ride on car you find at Walmart. I asked about this and the response was that they couldn’t do anything about it. I asked for the manager. He came after 20 minutes. He refused to give us a refund and told us that he could add extra races to our package and then told me that the kids could race again at 5:15. Not wanting to wait another 3 hours for a slow race I asked for a refund. The manager’s response was that his system didn’t allow refunds and there was nothing he could do.
As for the arcade - we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at the arcade. My kids love the games. There’s a great variety and selection. The problem is that Even after spending $100 or so, and after gathering a lot of tickets, when you get to the redemption counter, You’re lucky if you’ve earned enough tickets to get a few pieces of candy. It’s very demotivating for the kids and makes the whole experience feel like you’ve just been ripped off.
The virtual reality options are amazing. The value is good if you get a one hour unlimited pass - but assuming they have enough staff to set you up and start your rides - which isn’t...
