La Birra Bar has continued to be a very delicious and consistent restaurant I have continued to come too. Food is always great and staff always have a smile on their face, having a very welcoming atmosphere when you come in. The place is maintained well and always has a clean interior, making for an even more pleasant environment.
Although the pricing for the burgers are on the higher end, I believe it's totally worth it, considering the quality they come out in. I've been to many burger places, both high end and casual, but this place always takes the cake with how good the food comes out and the consistency they do it in. Their buns are made freshly daily alongside all the other ingredients used for the burger, which is always a great sign your food will taste amazing.
Another great quality this place brings, is the staff retention they have. Having come in multiple times throughout the year, the faces have remained the same, always bringing the positive energy when you walk in. (In today's day and age, it's pretty difficult to find places like this, not constantly having to shift through different employees.) To me, it displays a great synergy with the staff and management, actually enjoying coming to work and providing the same quality service consistently day to day.
Lisandro, who is the manager of the establishment does a great job all around with maintaining this place. I always see him roaming around the restaurant, cleaning up tables that need touching and engaging with the customers inside. Kudos to him and his team for continuing to have such an amazing environment to walk into every time. I look forward to coming to this place in the near future knowing what it has in store for me every-time.
EVERYONE SHOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY AT LEAST ONCE, DURING THEIR TIME IN THE AREA, YOU...
Read moreOverrated, over priced, and over hyped. Kind of upset and didn't enjoy $30 worth of food for three little things. They mention fresh buns prepared there, as wells as the smash style burger patties with a secret mayo and diced red onions. I'm a big cheese head and saw some golden brown cheese sticks that looked good so I figured let me check out if some tasty Argentinean cheese or seasoning is used on these but in the end, I've had way better burgers and cheese sticks and bummer to get charged for a water bottle when lady in front of me got a cup of water for free so I felt takem advantage and paying more money for unsatisfying food. I saw service walking around and attending some others before I say to eat and while I waited for my buzzer to ring to alarm that the food is ready. I even tipped at the register hoping for this extra service to attend and get some refill or anything missing but instead never got approached, I had my buzzer ring and I had to get up and go get the food, I got up to get extra sauce packets and when I finished I got up to give my tray to server so again these are the experiences where I feel why did I tip when I got no additional service. Pretty bummer, burger was all right like a 7.2 out of 10. Sticks weren't better, not golden brown like other images I saw. I rate those like 6.2 out of 10 and would've had better mozz sticks cooked from frozen at home. Mayo churri sauce was good and nice interior but back was also hurting from the stools with no backs so a bit uncomfortable and had to put my back against the wall to help ease pain a little since I didn't want to move tables and "dirty or use" another one. Wouldn't return and I was excited after seeing worlds most awarded burger but meh Ive definitely had better...
Read moreGlad I got to finally try out La Birra Bar. Went on a Sunday around 3pm.
Had the bacon cheeseburger double, which was delicious! This is real beef. The first bite took me back to those childhood homemade burgers. Thick seasoned patty with a nice chew - the meat is more chunky than finely ground. I appreciate that the buns are made from scratch - nice complementary flavor to the patty, pillowy texture like a cloud. The hot dog was 100% beef as well. Great quality, nice size hot dog. Yummy crispy fries. We were a party of 2 and so we split the burger, hot dog and fries and left stuffed.
The drawback for me was the bun is just too soft. It started to fall apart with every bite of the burger which ended up distractingly messy. Also the patty did not hold its warmth. It was served warm and as I continued to eat, the meat got noticeably cold. I don'tlike to food that should be hot, cold. Lastly, I wouldn't mind a nice crispy sear on the burger. Think that would help with holding the heat.
Everything is ordered individually - no combos. But the food is more than worth the price of purchasing each item individually.
There are tables inside and outside but inside was a bit cold so we sat outside. Seating was at a premium outside because there were nonstop customers, although there was rarely a line at the register because they work quick.
The team working was great! Patient and friendly. Not sure they were but it felt like they were the owners so they really cared about customers having a good experience. It was refreshing.
Looking forward to going back and trying other burgers...
