As a seasoned reviewer and frequent visitor to outdoor spaces, I must say Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park stands out as a gem in the urban landscape. This lush park is not just a playground for kids but a sanctuary for nature lovers. It offers a variety of experiences from large play areas that keep the children engaged, to serene nature walks adorned with butterflies that captivate any nature enthusiast.
My personal experience, bolstered by my kids attending nature school and attending numerous children’s parties here, has been consistently delightful. The park, despite its proximity to a bustling street, transforms into a hidden oasis. It’s a place where the hurried pace of city life fades into the background, allowing you and your loved ones to be immersed in its tranquil beauty.
The diligence of the staff in maintaining the park’s cleanliness and safety is commendable. Their hard work ensures the park remains a pristine environment for all visitors. The ambience here is akin to a jungle oasis - a place where you can pause, breathe, and appreciate the splendor of nature.
While I can’t compare it directly to other parks, as each has its unique charm, Enchanted Forest Elaine Gordon Park undoubtedly holds a special place for its ability to blend playfulness with natural serenity.
I am hesitant to suggest improvements, as the park meets all expectations for a family-friendly, nature-centric escape. I do wish it would open earlier and stay open later, otherwise I have no feedback. Therefore, it earns a well-deserved five stars from me. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat within the city (it’s very close to Aventura Mall) or a fun, safe place for kids to play and learn about nature, this park is a must-visit. It’s a testament to how urban spaces can harmoniously coexist with...

I recommend bringing a cheap price dear pair of binoculars or if you fancy yourself one of the truly awesome people able to still live up to the true potential required for it then go full Telescope off the back of the truck and start taking notes. (others simply park in the first lot facing away from the train tracks and head in to view from the drivers seat with no obstructions) Almost immediately you're body should begin to react pleasantly to the magnificent beasts in all of their loud to the eyes splendid costumes in action co-starring with the benches each has illegally laid claim it on and usually will be busy consuming a never ending plate of

Read moreAs much as my children and I love the wildlife and forest here, it can be dangerous. Today a pit bull pursued a child on the playground. Somehow the 6 year old escaped with only scratches, but it was terrifying for our children and us.
Pets are prohibited at the park, and it’s unfathomable why, of all places, the dog owners chose to sit by the playground in particular.
Parents, be on alert for two young white men with a white pit bull. The dog was initially wearing a black muzzle and black vest, resembling police gear. For some reason they let the dog off leash.
I will no longer be visiting this beloved park alone with my children. As if the dog incident weren’t deterrent enough, the addicts loitering on the other side of the park made me ready to leave, one watching my kids and saying indecipherable things to me.
I could not reach any personnel or even a voicemail to report such concerns.
Otherwise a beautiful place to see iguanas, ibis, turtles, large fish, ducks, and rare woods in Miami! I just wish I...
