This park has beautiful bathrooms.

We're talking well-lit, odor-free, toddler-friendly bathrooms (as in a built-in stool at the sink and booster seat for kiddo to wait in when it's mama's turn to go). If there's a gallery for amazing bathrooms, this place needs to make the list!

Aside from the impressive bathrooms, here's what you need to know: Parking: Lot Age range (playground): 1+ Sidewalks: Paved to the playground and other park amenities Seating: Ample supply of benches surrounding playground Bathrooms: On the side of the main building Picnic tables: A couple scattered by play area, including toddler-sized tables; more in the pavilion Grills: A couple in by the play area; more in the pavilion Sports field: Shaded grassy area by play area and a baseball field to one side

The playground, main building (with inside meeting space), picnic pavilion, and baseball field are all right off of the parking lot. The lake is a short walk down a hill. There's a dock off of one side. The park is well-paved to each amenity it offers.

Surrounding the play ground is plenty of seating, including two benches perched underneath a charming pagoda.

The play area is laid with mulch and suited for kids of all ages. There's a section for little kids, complete with baby swings (that also features a high-back swing); and a section for older kids, complete with regular swings and one of those hammock swings (I still don't know what this is really called).

Something I appreciate about this playground is the aesthetics: It's made of plastic made to mimic wood. The overall appeal of the play area is a fun treehouse paradise. Synthetic wood also means lesser chances of splinters or burns.

My kids' had two favorite parts of the playground: the climbing mushrooms and the crawl spaces underneath the playground for older kids. They also enjoyed the variety of slides, spring riders, and climbing obstacles (which ranged from easy to challenging to, at this point, impossible without help).

We went for a couple hours in the morning. It got a lot of traffic during our time there. This was a pleasant surprise for us, as we also got to socialize as a bonus.

Although we had no use for them on our visit, I like how there's an ample supply of picnic tables, including a couple just for toddlers. Casey Lake Park was impressive to the point that I've noted it as a potential spot for future...

Won't give me my money back. I have never been able to actually rent out this facility. I tried scheduling my son's birthday party to be at Casey Lake Park in late December. I couldn't get any of the days I wanted, which is fine. I decided to go to Hause Park instead. I finally was able to get a response about the day being available, and they said they'd hold the spot if I paid on Friday the $100 deposit (3 days from booking) Then almost 2 weeks later I got a email saying, "I realize we just finished up your paperwork but after the governor announced the new restrictions, the city has decided to cancel all reservations at our rental buildings. Your park reservation has been cancelled due to covid-19 restrictions. Your payment of 100.00 will be processed for a refund."

Which I was obviously very disappointed because I was finally excited about moving forward and planning my son's first birthday party. But again, not really their fault. But they could have at least apologized??? So now I'm scrambling trying to find something else to do for my son's birthday party in December during COVID. No one has a lot of money right now; people aren't working as much, the holidays are expensive, especially having a baby with a birthday 5 days before Christmas. My pockets were hurting and I could really use that $100 right now. I finally emailed back and stated that it's been 5 days and want to know when I can expect my money back. "Sorry Jordan, we don’t always know who’s familiar with the process. The refund request has been submitted- these first go to council for approval and then a check is sent out. With the holiday, the next meeting is 12/1. You’ll probably see your refund in the mail the week of 12/7." & Remember, they cancelled on 11/13 and I had paid on 11/6 and now I won't get my money back until 12/7???

Why does someone need to approve to give a mom her $100 back on a party that YOU cancelled? Why do I have to wait a month to get my money back because of something that is not mine or my family's fault?

I just don't get it. Especially "during...

We had a blast here with our grandson. We played for 2 straight hours! Such a large choice of equipment to choose from! The only reason I gave four stars is because the playground needs some workers to spruce it up. The black lining under the wood chips is coming up, there's a couple exposed screw heads where there shouldn't be and the wood chips badly need to be raked. But sadly, I get it. Help is so hard to find these days. It's a fabulous park! Just stay right with your kids to protect...

Great little park / lots of fun events held seasonal here like easter egg hunt & Halloween trick or treat trail / great community area around / nice path, playgrounds, & several diffrent fields to play sports on / nice size pond with wildlife / only down fall is on a busy street at times keep close on kids around & limited parking spots available able to park on street but not that safe / other than that great little park in north st paul area
