I called for information on a piece of exercise equipment. The owner was helpful and informative so I ended up buying a used piece of equipment from him. Once he ran my credit card, I asked him if it was possible to plug in the machine and make sure everything worked before I left with it. He said, ”all sales are final.” I agreed and realized I now take full responsibility. The owner called me an hour later telling me that the piece of equipment I bought was already sold. “So what’s the problem? All sales are final, correct?” Nope! Not if it affects the stores side. It’s a one way company...only what’s best for them. As a business owner myself, you can’t make money on every sale. What does that look like? Why not come to me with an option that is a great deal so I feel like cares about his word. I bet he’s got 40% margin on new products....offer me one at 30% off. Nope! I went in this morning to check to see if they had a part I needed. They didnt open up until after their opening time, you could not even walk 10 feet into the store, because there are huge boxes blocking the entrance, They didnt answer their telephone, called 5 times over 15 mins. Plus i had to yell to get someone's attention multiple times. The guy finally came from the back and didnt even apologize and was very rude.How are you going to have a business, when you dont open on time, you don't answer your calls when you are open, you dont even let people walk through your store. Before you buy your exercise equipment from a big box store where nobody knows anything about the products they are selling, talk to these guys. Their products are competitively priced and they are very knowledgeable about the industry.
