UPDATE: I have changed my initial review score (1*) and am leaving my original review down below for context.
Brian, one of the manager's at Callie's, spoke with me about my experience there today and apologized profusely for any perceived slights or fumbles in customer service provided to me today. He read my review in full and immediately took steps to try and rebuild what may have been a burnt bridge for me at this dispensary and has absolutely retained my loyalty as a customer.
Thank you for making my concerns feel heard, Brian. I just came back from Callie's and my experience was so frustrating I have to leave a review in the hopes that some standards are better enforced around this dispensary.
I have been shopping here for over a year on a consistent basis, have spent thousands of dollars here and have come to expect what I thought was a reasonable baseline for customer service at this location.
Victoria didn't say a word to me at the front door, despite greeting the couple just before me. She took my ID and slid it back to me and then buzzed the door in complete silence even when I asked her how she is doing today.
Afterwards, I go in and tell her what I'd like, two grams of live resin. After choosing the two individual grams I want she rings me up for only one of them and starts taking my money before even telling me the total.
It was also at this time that she drops a "By the way, live resin prices have gone up", if this is a new pricing change and this is a product that I and I imagine many others buy regularly here then why not tell me that to start?
My money already being in somebody else's hand and a "By the way I'm giving you less of your money back then you expected, and I rang up the purchase incorrectly" makes me feel like I can't trust my budtender.
I googled "live resin shortage colorado" and came back with nothing and Victoria never gave me my receipt either so I feel like she just overcharged me for fun and pocketed the change.
Then after explaining to her I want both of the two live resins I had selected she kept trying to tell me that she was only able to take the $5 thursday discount off of one of the grams of live resin, like seriously?
I had to tell her how her own dispensary promotions work.
With no receipt and me out extra money on an exchange with someone clearly dipping into the dispensary's goods before a shift I don't think I want to spend my money here anymore.
I feel cheated and until Callie's makes better efforts in promoting better customer service and transparency regarding price changes I don't feel that myself or others that purchase on a regular basis as I do will be taken care of...
Read moreThis is truly what our neighborhood needed. This place is an extremely huge upgrade from the cluttered and dark Natural Selections that used to be here. The staff is way more knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention the military discount that they have. I used to hate the simple $1 discount that the Natural selections had. It didn’t matter if I spent $10 or $200, the veteran discount was always just a buck. Now I can get a decent veteran discount on any purchase I make. The variety in their menus are extremely detailed yet simple. No other dispensary within a 6 mile radius holds disposable 1000mg distillate pens. Another honorable mention is their pricing for flower. The pricing pretty much comes down to the part of the plant that the buds come from. You can get 35% THC popcorn nugs at an extremely reasonable price compared to other dispensaries in the area. My first time coming in was an extremely mind blowing experience. I came in for my step father who’s a 30 year long carpenter who has a bad case of arthritis that causes severe swelling and pain in his hands. The bud tender was stellar when it came down to recommending a specific type of ointment for my step fathers case. Needless to say; because of the amazing customer service and beautiful displays within the dispensary, I ended up leaving with way more product that I had initially came in for and I also signed up for the rewards program. Read moreThis place is terrible. I have been coming here since September and they have disappointed me over and over again without any regard to customer retention. In a city that has a plethora of dispensaries, you would think that they would care about that but no. I'm not gonna get into the details of each instance but trust me when I say, if you care about getting herb (regardless of the medium in which you enjoy it), you care about product being in stock (sucks to find items you love just for them to always be out of stock and told to shop elsewhere
