I don't like to post bad reviews because I like to let all my friends and family to know where they can go for great service and food, But 3 HOURS!! Call me crazy, but I was a little blown away with the time that it took us to dine in at Red Lobster With a reservation. I know our party was big, 9 adults, 3 kids and a 1 year old which didn't order anything. I read a review of party of 10 and it was good. We were prepared and knew what we wanted before we arrived so things could go as smoothly as possible. We ordered drinks, then we ordered apitizers and the kids' meals right away. We then put our order in for our food. My steak was ordered well done, and it was still red when I cut into it. Our food was Not hot, warm at best. I was able to give the baby a french fry right away because they were already cold. We were there for my fathers 80th Birthday and my 50th, I told the lady at the front and our waitress already, so we didn't want to complain even more and make our 3 hour wait even longer. Besides, I don't like to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I called the next day to talk to the manager, I got the assistant manager. I talked to her about the insident with the employee in the family restroom, told her how we were there so long that the games timed out and asked for us to reperchase to continue playing on the 3 tablets, I told her about my steak and the cold food and how a lot of staff were just standing outside while we are all inside waiting. Didn't look good! She seemed concerned and polite and said she couldn't do much for me and offered for the manager, Jennifer Martin, to give me a call. She finally called me on Monday, and when I was talking to her, she sounded annoyed with me and halfway apologized for everything. Then she blamed me for not complaining on Friday night. We did talk to the lady at the front and told our waitress and they just apologized and no manager aproached us that evening so I thought instead of being a KAREN, I would call the manager the next day. So for 3 Hours, cold/undercooked food, $600 and 2 managers later, I feel worse than I...
Read moreWe ordered for pick up. I get it, mothers day is busy totally did not mind the time at all - the low review is about the low quality cold food and small portion sizes for a family meal. Called the restaurant upon arrival and was told itd be about 20 minutes for our order to be finished, totally okay. We spent a total of an hour sitting outside the restaurant after our order was supposed to be ready for pick up. When I called about 30 minutes through the experience at first they couldnt find my order, then they told me we werent outside in the parking lot curbside pick up even though we had been sitting in the same spot for 30 minutes. I asked if our order was ready and was told not yet (completely fine, dont mind waiting for good quality food). Then I was told we were actually just waiting on soup and our other food was finished sitting on the counter and that we could exchange for a different soup if we didnt want to wait. I asked how long the soup would take to finish and was told 3 minutes. Totally okay, asked to wait. We then had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the soup but since our food was finished just hanging out on a counter getting cold it was cool when we picked it up and by the time we got it home it was disappointingly gross. Especially for spending so much money.... the portion of the soup was tiny especially because it was supposed to serve 6 people. We ordered a family meal with white fish and got the tiniest 5 pieces, about the size of a large shrimp barely enough to feed maybe one person and definitely not a suitable amount for a family of 4 as advertised. Portions were insanely small and quality and service were horribly lacking. Poor experience overall especially since it was supposed to be a special mothers...
Read moreWe were in this location for 3 hours, at no fault of are own! It took 45 min to get us in which is understandable, we had a party of 12 on a Saturday. When we were seated We ordered promptly but drinks were not served to half our party. Then it took an hour and a half after ordering to get our food, drinks were not regularly checked on either, one of our party guests had to walk to the bar to get some water. The food portions once we received them were not worth the amount that is charged.
Apon checking out, none of the kiosks were charged, we were told thats how we go about splitting the check. This was my grandmothers birthday dinner of choice ( or else i would have walked out with in the first hour), she had received a email stating that she could receive free slice of cake, she showed the manager, and we still were charged for it, she also had a $10 off coupon that the mannager stated she could not redeam.
On My bill after I had payed i noticed it looked really high. I had ordered a kids meal with a smoothie, I knew there was a additional charge of about 2 dollars but was charged 9. I requested a refund but only recived $4 then had to ask again for the additional amount. Everyone in our party had 1 or 2 bad experiences while we were there. The manager was involved in the ordeal but had an absolute nasty attitude the whole time. She never once aknolaged that we had a bad experience she couldn't even be bother to apologize! I feel horrible for my grandmother because she just wanted a nice experience for her birthday and we were treated terribly. There is no excuse for this type of service in the restaurant business! I wouldn't recommend anyone go to...
