I like this park. It has a big open greenspace, lots of stately, shady trees, picnic tables, playground equipment, and the Peace Bell. I didn't use the restroom, but I image they are as clean as you'd expect any public park to be. I saw people with their dogs, but no pet waste. It's not a place tourists are coming to the island to visit, but it is a definite asset to the local residents. We stopped here because there is something labeled a bike path that is accessible from the park. It is the most pathetic excuse for a bike path that you have ever seen. It is literally littered from end to end with trash and abandoned vehicles and homeless encampments and is in serious disrepair. There isn't a stretch of even 100 yards that has any kind of a view that anybody would want to appreciate. The most appropriate label for the bike path is access path for homeless encampment and...
