This place is small and popular with the locals who will swear by the ox tail soup so be prepared to wait for a table. Fortunately the service is super quick so you will not wait long.
As I hinted in my introduction, if you love ox tails, this is the place you need to be. The Kapiolani Coffee Shop is a small mom and pop place with fast friendly service. The Ox tail soup was full of meat nice served in light broth served with a side of white rice. Be sure to dip your meat in the freshly ground ginger and soy sauce to make it extra special.
