Burger King — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Today my husband had to have another medical procedure done this side of the island so we decided to pick up Burger King for lunch. I really wanted to try the Frozen Strawberry Nerds drink since I really liked nerds as a kid and it was a hot day. It was sooo refreshing and yummy!!! Tasted exactly like nerds before you even get to the topping!! Tart and sweet and cold!! I wanted another one!!! Highly recommend you try this if you’re a nerds candy lover or if you love frozen treats too. I had my usual impossible whopper but my husband accidentally ordered it plain so it was pretty much naked 😓 the onion rings made up for it since there was a lot. He had his usual favorite double whopper. Good meal. Order was accurate as well so that was great. I will definitely drop by again for a repeat on the Frozen Strawberry Nerds and order the Rodeo Burger next time as well!

06//04/2025 Had the Rodeo Burger Today. It’s Tasty. Just the right size for me but if you have a big appetite it will not be enough. My husband was laughing at the size and said it wasn’t nearly enough for him. 😅

Gotta love their chicken nuggets! Only $2.49 for 10 pieces and they are better seasoned than the McDonald's nuggets. Althought if you compare their crispyness McDonald's ones are better. However, if you want to save them for later, the McDonald's ones actually gets soggy and chewy whereas BK's nuggets will be crispy again if you just toss them into the little toaster ovens.

We went drive through and they are actually pretty fast even though it was busy. I thought the food wouldn't be fresh since they were able to serve everyone so fast but that wasn't the case, my nuggets all came out piping HOT and absolutely delicious!

I heard they have the new Beyon Meat vegetarian burgers, no sure if they have it in this location since I forgot to ask, but I really want to try it because I've heard great things about those. Maybe next time I'll get one.

We usually avoid BK at noonish when they are expectedly super busy and drive thru is backed up onto ka’ahumanu, but today there was open parking so walked in to order. There’s currently a 2 meals for $17 deal which is pretty good because if you just purchase the sandwiches only, it would be 2 for $11… so for $6 more you get two small drinks and two small fries. Ended up getting two of the $17 meals and an 8 piece jalapeño bites for almost $40. One of the whopper burgers was requested to be low carb (no buns) and we were impressed that they added a little pile of green (actually green) lettuce instead of white iceberg which is what you’d receive at a competitor like W’s. The impossible burger is included in the pair deals (both the sandwich only or meals) and the higher price is even better savings being $9.19 for sandwich only/$12.19 for meal.
