Their furikake salmon Poke was really good!! I’m not usually a Poke person on the mainland but this one changed my mind. Apparently it’s fresh fish and more expensive than their other options. The person running the counter was helpful in explaining the differences. Also got a bowl with spicy Ahi and California Ahi, but I thought those were just okay. The two choices Poke was really large so next time I’d just get one of those and share it between two people.

Decent selection of general food items and produce. Included a small pharmacy area (3 half-size aisles of pharmaceutical items, which was a very useful find). Minus 1 star for NOT selling ANY alcohol (apparently the the town is dry due to the religious influence in the area…learn something new everyday).

We stopped by for some poke bowls and were not disappointed! The employee who helped us was very helpful and patient in explaining the options. The poke itself was delicious and very reasonably priced, and we enjoyed eating it by the water!

Yesterday, I received my first impression of the Foodland Laie. For starters, it is conveniently located on Kamehameha Highway, easily spotted from the road.

Right away, I noticed there was a variety of bread on sale, which often carries a higher price compared to the mainland.

There can be some great deals on meat if you are willing to dig. The kind I missed quickly scanning, my roommate unearthed, and bought the last three packs kind.

Throughout the store I met several of the friendly staff, and they were eager to help. They smiled and easily engaged in conversation.

Another bonus was the painless signup for their discounts. All you need to provide is your valid, ten digit phone number. Piece of cake.

I will be back, and recommend stopping by to shop for yourself. Who knows what will be on sale during...

Never have I been treated so kindly and with so much consideration in a grocery store. I was riding my bicycle around the island and stopped in to grab something to drink and a wonderful gentleman with a fit build and a shaved head waved me in and helped take my bike. After I filled my bottles with Gatorade I accidentally spilled one of them in the store and a gentleman named Ryo cleaned up the mess with a smile and a laugh and even offered to let me grab a new bottle of Gatorade. I was too embarrassed to take him up on the offer but I was treated with such consideration it actually left me a little weepy as I rode my bike down the road. Thank you so much for taking care of another person. I felt the true Spirit of aloha...

We came for a short visit to pick up some things, I accidentally locked our key in the car, we are on holiday from the UK and were really stuck and worried this would cost alot of money, we went into Foodland and asked the customer service desk if they could help. The cashier, her name is Nani, she is absolutely amazing and couldn’t be anymore helpful! She was so kind and caring with us and our situation even going as far as helping us get the car unlocked! She called bonnie who came to the rescue with her husband!!They are a true credit to your company and we can’t thank them enough for saving our holiday!! Thanks Nani and Bonnie you are...
