An Unforgettable Adventure with Tiger Sharks, with a reputable company!

We recently had the incredible opportunity to go on a Chartered morning shark dive, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations! From start to finish, everything about this adventure was exceptional. Im an artist, with a love of sharks, and live on island... I am aware of other shark dive companies and reputations, and I can say this is a well reputable company on Oahu, in the dive community.

Firstly, the staff and crew were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and safety-conscious. Taylor was super knowledgable and you could tell Shark Conservation is a huge passion of hers, so this was not "just a thrill ride" This was an educational, fun, awe inspiring experience, being in the water with these majestic beasts. The crew's passion for marine conservation and respect for these magnificent creatures was evident, which made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire experience.

The dive itself was nothing short of breathtaking. The moment I dropped into the crystal-clear blue waters and caught sight of the majestic tiger sharks, my heart skipped a beat. My breathing slowed, it was a serene moment and I knew I was addicted at that moment, less than a minute and I was hooked. These powerful creatures gracefully glided through the ocean, showcasing their impressive size and distinctive markings. It was a surreal feeling being in such close proximity to these apex predators, yet I felt completely at ease with our attentive guides in the water with us.

The highlight of the dive was that we were blessed with tons of Galapagos sharks AND FOUR TIGERS! I loved that the tiger sharks swam gracefully close, allowing me to observe their sheer beauty up close. They are curious creatures and want to see what the activity is all about. The sight of their sleek giant body and soulful eyes left me in awe. It was a humbling and awe-inspiring experience that I will cherish forever.

Not only did I have the opportunity to witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat, but I also learned so much about their behavior, conservation efforts, and the importance of protecting our oceans. The dive operators were passionate about educating us and ensuring we left with a greater appreciation for tiger sharks and the marine environment.

I highly recommend booking a shark dive. It's an experience that will leave you with a profound appreciation for the wonders of the ocean and a newfound respect for these magnificent creatures. My husband went, he faced his fears of sharks, I was so proud of him, and it left him in less fear of them. So I encourage even if you are scared of sharks, face your fear as you might discover your fear start to ebb. I cannot thank the dive team enough for creating such an unforgettable experience.

I’ve been deep sea fishing 4 times in Hawaii now, and GoFishingHawaii is the best so far. I shouldn’t say so far. I’m done looking. I found my team: it’s Jordan and Matty. They were crazy affordable. Very low key and chill. Great communication, called the day prior to firm up the time and make sure we knew where to go. After we were out on the water, they were tenacious in efforts to find fish. I’ve been on other boats where they are phoning it in, but Jordan was a hawk, diligently and actively searching out areas that had birds (good place for fish) and buoys (also good place for fish). I thought we were gonna get skunked because all the other boats on the water weren’t catching anything, but they didn’t give up, they kept trying, they switched and gambled on another area none of the other boats were going to, and it paid off. We hauled in a Marlin. Then 2 Mahi Mahi…then another Marlin! On a day nobody else was catching anything we hauled in 2 Marlin no doubt because Jordan and Matty were going to do whatever it took to get something on the line for us. They also involved us, didn’t just plant us in a reel chair to do nothing but reel. At the end of the day they were VERY generous allowing us to take home several gallon bags of Marlin and Mahi Mahi. I can’t guarantee you they’ll haul something in if you fish with them, but I CAN guarantee they are going to work harder than anybody to try to make that happen. I was definitely on the nervous side as I do not know how to swim. I had only been in the deep end of the swimming pool a week before I went out with the sharks. I also had only practiced snorkeling once. The ocean scares me as it is so so so deep and has all kinds of life living in it. I decided I would be so brave and share this experience with my kids and bestie while we were on Oahu.

The ocean was a bit choppy heading out to the location. We all took some dramamine to help with not getting nauseous.

The experience of getting in the deep ocean with known sharks was scary to me. The letting go of the boat and into the water was a bit of a panic moment for me. Jordan was there coaching me through it and reminded me to breathe through the snorkel. I did ask for a life jacket which Jordan provided for me. All I had to do was hold onto the rope and breath. I won’t lie, it took me about 10 minutes before I found myself calm and breathing normal in the snorkel.

The sharks started coming! And the experience was incredible! I couldn’t believe I actually felt safe. I started to relax and enjoy this moment in the Big Big Ocean with my loved ones and the sharks.
