I’m an experienced scuba diver, but decided to do this snorkeling tour because the guides on my whale watch tour recommended Ocean Addicts. I’ve seen sharks on previous dives but this took it to another level. First, we were lucky enough to see several whale spouts and a couple of whale fins on our way out to the sight where the boat would anchor. Then a whale breached close to our first dive sight…. Amazing! During our first session in the water we saw so many Galapagos sharks I lost count. Then tuna and other fish joined the party. We had to exit the water so we did not become buffet offerings. Our safety guide, Nick, was experienced and knew that it was time to get back on the boat. We proceeded to a different location and entered the water again. This time there were only a few sharks, but it was still amazing. The water was a deep blue, clear, incredible visibility. Captain Marley and a Nick were very professional and experienced, but fun and informative. I was a little nervous before embarking, but quickly became comfortable in the water. The whole crew made us feel safe and at ease from the beginning, giving clear and detailed instructions on what we were going to do. They are very professional and make this experience perfect for all kinds of people, from those who don't have much contact with the sea to those who are addicted to the sea, like me. I am a certified diver and freediver and this is one of the best experiences I have ever had in the sea. We had all the time about 5-6 sharks around us and it was so peacefull watching them, it totally changed my perspective about these animals.
