While in.Oahu, we decided to travel to the North Shore. While driving around, we saw a few food trucks and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We went to the Khan Kham Thai food truck. They have many options to choose from, and it was hard to decide. I ended up ordering the spicy garlic shrimp, and my buddy got the fried pork belly. That shrimp, hands down, was the best shrimp I have eaten. Perfect spiciness and loads of garlic, perfect balance. I was extremely satisfied with what I ordered! It came with white rice and a slaw. The slaw tasted great, unsure of what all the dressing contained, but it was very good. Everything on the plate just went perfectly together. I have to say, since eating that, we have to go back before we leave the island. It's a must! Also, that fried pork belly was amazing as well... We left this food truck SUPER SATISFIED. Prices were very reasonable, and it was a chill atmosphere. The lady that took our order was very friendly. Oh..almost forgot try the lime or tamarind juices if you visit, those were great as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this truck. You'd be missing out if you don't. If you read my review, please hit the like...

The area felt very safe and welcoming, with a laid-back atmosphere that perfectly complements the North Shore vibe. The marketplace boasts a diverse selection of shops, ranging from local boutiques to well-known brands, offering everything from surf gear to unique souvenirs. We particularly enjoyed exploring the variety of stores, each with its own charm and character.
In addition to shopping, there are several cafes and eateries where you can grab a bite or enjoy a refreshing drink. The overall ambiance is relaxed, making it a great place to unwind and soak in the local culture.
Whether you’re looking to shop, dine, or simply stroll around, the North Shore Marketplace is a fantastic destination that captures the essence of Haleiwa. We highly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreWe went to the shopping plaza buy a shirt at the Patagonia Store. There was a short wait to get in. This Patagonia Store did have the Pataloha t-shirt everyone was fighting over at the Honolulu location, and they were sold out of. The sizes were limited here as well, but they had two different designs of the Pataloha shirt and many other nice souvenir options.
There are a few knickknack shops with the same tourist items you see in other souvenir stores. We were also very hungry, but there wasn't a whole lot of food options at the plaza with great ratings. The surrounding area had many offerings. The Marketplace also had some galleries that looked interesting, but we didn't have time to explore.
This place is worth a stop, and you could spend 1-2 hours wandering...
