Honu Lagoon — Attraction in Oʻahu

All the man-made lagoons in Ko Olina feel the same in terms of the water and sand. If you want a place to swim without the hubbub of Waikiki, this place is ideal. The lagoon is swimmer friendly and there is some fish, not a lot, to gawk at if you want to snorkel. The lagoons are positioned perfectly for sunset viewing. This place had great reviews for snorkeling. False. Lagoon 2 is the best one and there's still little to see in. They are extremely safe even in high winter waves though. Great for kids and family. Man made lagoons with hotels at each. A bit like a swimming pool. Outdoor showers, bathrooms to change in, water fountains. Its very tourist friendly. Nice, large, clean white sand beach with a break to reduce the surf. This makes for an excellent, family friendly beach and recreation area. Lots of grass and shade as well. Bathrooms and showers available. No services or lifeguard on duty. It is not crowded and makes for a nice day...
