Worst experience ever! In fact, I wish it were possible to rate this as 0 stars. I went in to make a simple return with a valid receipt for a bra purchased as a gift less than 2 weeks ago. The initial associate all but accused me of trying to keep a free perfume, which I was unaware was a gift with purchase (as this was a gift). At that point, I asked if I could exchange the item for something else. Since I recently purchased other bras, I asked if I could shop for something else. The associate said yes and told me approximately how much I would have to spend and I went shopping.
After 20 minutes, i found an item and got back in line to make the exchange ( I waited in line for 10 minutes the 1st time). At this point a different, (and much ruder) associate told me that it had to be exchanged for another bra. Confused by the hostility and the change in my recently given directives - I asked why I was told something different by the previous associate. I was told that she simply didn't know. In my opinion, if you have someone who is working the registers, they should be familiar with your company policy regarding returns, exchanges, etc. I explained that I had already wasted 40 minutes in the store at this point and I was upset, whereupon I was told my behavior needed to change. To be clear, I was not yelling or cursing. .i was simply an upset and confused consumer whose time was being wasted.
I asked to speak to the store manager and she told me that they WOULD NOT do the exchange because the 2nd associate claimed i called the first associate an "idiot" and she didn't like my attitude. To be honest, I dont think it was my attitude she didn't like. .I think it was the color of my skin. I was asked to leave the store and was humiliated. I have never been treated in such a way and had my time wasted as a consumer. It was clear that they wanted no part of my return even though i had a valid receipt. This seems like discrimination to me, and luckily I recorded the incident on my smart watch. I am currently looking into what options I have as I no longer feel comfortable shopping in the store. They've already painted me with the brush of "angry black woman" and i would not feel comfortable shopping there. It's an awkward position to be in...
Read moreIf I could give this store a -100000 stars I would. I went in today with my fiancé to look around and from the moment I walked in I felt unwelcomed and ignored. Mind you today is my only day off and as a busy mom I look forward to when I can treat myself! I was not greeted when I came in and I noticed that other customers that came in behind me were. Okay strike 1...so since I was already there I just decided to ignore that fact and look around for some yoga pants I wanted. Not ONCE did any of the employees ask me if I wanted help or if I was doing okay. Not the two girls organizing the panties drawers nor the two in the middle of the store and the three girls that were in the section by the registers. They were very snobby and just stood in the middle of the store gossiping about stupidities when in fact they should be attending their customers. They saw me looking for the yoga pants I mentioned earlier but did any of them offer any help? Not at all! The only positive experience I had was with the very nice cashier who asked me if anybody had helped me today and I responded with NOT AT ALL & I also told her that I wasn’t even greeted when I came in. She immediately apologized several times and I thanked her and I just told her that I just thought I should let somebody know about this so that future customers don’t have to feel as ignored as I did today. Read moreI come here often, it's one of my favorite stores. While things are expensive, you can definitely get good deals by using sales and coupons! This store offers way more than any of the VS in the area. There are ALOT of women (and men!) that work here but they are all very friendly and approachable. As soon as you walk through the door, someone is here to guide you. And if you want to look, they give you enough space. While I usually have a great experience at this location, this visit I definitely felt like apart of the crew.
I came here yesterday and Jackie (hopefully I spelled it right!) led me in the right direction to talk to each lady who was the expert in beauty, lounge wear, etc. She checked in with me and made sure I was doing okay. I really liked that she took the time to ask my name, call me by my name, etc. She really made me feel special as a customer! After trying things on, she found me what I wanted in a size that wasn't available. She also helped me figure out the best way to use my coupons (which I ended up almost even!). I had wanted to exhange a previous online purchase as to not lose an angel reward. While it wasn't in stock, she helped the cashier find me an alternative item I could exchange it for.
