My family and I celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday here today. The food choices were great and our meal was delicious as always, as was the service. Also, for my wife and I who are tracking our macro-nutrients, the healthy choices and breakdown of nutritional content of all their dishes is a fantastic bonus to dining here.

Food: the menu was Spring focused, and as advised by our server Jorge, many dishes featured lemon and/or asparagus. There were four of us and my daughter, and we all agreed our dishes were great - portion sizes were reasonable, ingredients tasted fresh, food wasn't overly seasoned and everything simply tasted very good. One thing that Seasons 52 does that I really commend is they take the time to list out the nutritional content of ALL their dishes, including sides, cocktails and deserts. For those who track calories, and especially those on strict diets who track their macros, this is a god send and something I rarely see in the industry. Seasons 52 takes nutritious eating to another level with this sort of extra effort.

Service: As always, all staff were warm and quite attentive. Jorge was our server, and was prompt with our drink orders and ultimately the food as well. When it comes to service, it really is the little things that make a difference - offering hot water for tea orders, keeping folks posted on when to expect food orders to come out, and taking good family photos at the end of the meal. Jorge was spot on. When we had a little mix-up with the bill (which was totally our mistake, and not the restaurant's), Jorge went the extra step to ask his manager Brian for a resolution which was promptly offered and taken care of. This was unexpected, but highly appreciated.

Environment: The restaurant had subtle Easter decorations, which was a nice touch even for those who do not observe the holiday. Otherwise, floors, tables, seating, flatware and dishes were all very clean which I appreciate. Nothing detracts from a dining experience like food debris on the floor, grease stains on the seats and water spots on flatware.

Overall: Good food makes for a memorable dining experience, but excellent service is what will keep you coming back again and again. The staff at Seasons 52 sets the bar high but every time they continue to meet their own excellent standards. Many thanks to Brian, Jorge and the rest of the staff for providing a great dining experience for my daughter's...

You can’t go wrong with this menu. What I particularly love is that the menu changes with the seasons. Any midwesterner knows we get all 4 seasons and the feelings we have behind each one are all different. We came here for my birthday, my foodie husband, daughter and I. The wine flight was amazing. I love dry reds, if you are the same this is the flight for you. It allowed me to sample their best while then choosing my favorite, which was a cab. For apps we ordered the corn, cheddar, bacon flatbread and my 14 y/o even ate the mushrooms that came with the spinach stuffed shrimp. They were all gone rather quickly. Love that flatbread so much, I would love to make a large-sized pizza out of the same ingredients. Entrees ordered: filet mignon medium, trout, salad with chicken. Everything was prepared perfectly, no issues with the proteins - it’s obvious the chef/s know what they’re doing. Side doshes and salad the same. Fresh ingredients paired perfectly with eachother, cooked to perfection, everything was light and we ate it all. The plates are not filled with too much food, you can actually eat somewhat healthy and leave with a full belly, no leftovers, no regrets. Would love to return in the fall to see what changes they’ve made with the menu. Oh, and a cheesecake on the house. It was light, creamy, and would’ve loved this in a larger size also. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The ‘Happy Birthday’ sign wasn’t overtly obvious, there are no surprise embarrassments, it was a truly wonderful experience with some of my...

I believe the well known term in the industry is "Clip joint". I would prefer to leave it at that but, so much more has digressed at this location, I feel compelled to warn. Seasons 52 of Oakbrook still "looks" inviting. However, the luster began to tarnish almost immediately and continued to nosedive until the end of our visit. As suggested in the "clip joint" reference, you can expect ridiculously high prices for pathetically small portions, watery "specialty" martinis and horrendously inhospitable service from start to finish. I'm not sure who or what influenced this ridiculously horrific downgrade since our last visit but whether it is Covid related, a new manager and staff or a poor corporate initiative (lack thereof), it is not the Seasons 52 of old. It has become something much more lowly than one would ever have expected or anticipated from first glance. Without going into further details, it would also be helpful to know, "Be sure to depart before dusk!"....... as the atmosphere becomes considerably less desirable as nightfall approaches. It turns into more of a seedy "Hip-Hop / Rap club" environment than upscale restaurant or lounge. Of added note, a woman who seemed to be the Bar Manager had a very specific ethnic preference of whom she visited with (while ignoring others) once she finally "made her rounds". We have patronized this location for the last time. Definitely not recommended when compared to so many better restaurants and lounges...

Nice atmosphere on a Saturday night for a date night or family night - it seemed very busy, I would recommend a reservation. Lots of alcoholic options on the drink menu - I got the lemonade this time and it was very sweet. Next time I'll try the drink menu We started off with the ahi tuna tartare and avocado toast. The avocado toast was good but lacked a little flavor. When it came to the tartare - the avocado had loads of sour cream and the tuna had too much Sriracha and "Wasabi" (tasted more like horseradish than Wasabi) and left me disappointed because it's a featured favorite item they recommend. The roasted tomato Flatbread however was delicious. For the main dish I got the wood-grilled filet mignon that came with roasted shitake mushrooms, asparagus, yukon mashed potato, and a red wine sauce. I ordered it medium rare and it came a little more cooked than I prefer but it was still very tender - I didn't even need to ask for a steak knife. I was not a fan of the red wine sauce. For dessert they offer small size portions - about the size of a shot glass. We got the chocolate smorez and cinnamon coffee cake - both were good! Overall it was a good ambiance and a good meal. I would come back to try some other items on the menu.
