We ordered tacos! 2 carne asada, 1 lengua (tongue), 1 pescado (fish), 1 camaron (shrimp), and 1 tripa (tripe). We came by around 2pm, and the lady right behind us was told they ran out of lengua while fulfilling our order. Things are served all together (unlabeled! Note if you're sharing with someone.) on a plate with cilantro, lime wedges, pickled carrots and peppers, and radishes. We tried their red and green sauces, as well. Everything was actually decently tasty, with the exception of the tripe (just wasn't used to it, I guess; flavor was a bit foul). Red sauce is a bit spicy, and possibly either this or the tripe caused me to have some serious indigestion later that day. :'( Additionally, the prices aren't the best at $2.50 a taco, even on Tuesdays; and they're cash only, although there's a US Bank w/ATM in the nearby lot. Silver lining- at least the price is the same for fish and/or shrimp, as well. Low rating for the terrible tummy pain. I felt like I was going to die. I'm not exactly sure what caused it, but I'm concerned about their food hygiene. Never coming back, unfortunately, although the lady was nice and the food was alright.

THIS IS IT. YOUR SEARCH FOR BEST TACO TRUCK IN OAKLAND AND POSSIBLY THE BAY AREA IS OVER. I can’t believe I’m just coming across this place after living here for 4 years... I ordered the veggie burrito and as you can see, it’s a work of art. So damn delicious. With the Salsa verde and roasted tomato salsa, and pickled carrots and radishes? Chefs kiss. But the real heart strings being pulled here are the people who work here. It’s cash only (or zelle) and I didn’t have enough on me to buy me a burrito. They said that’s ok you can pay next time and even asked me if I wanted something to drink 🥺. And they gave me chips too. I’m sold for life. Thank you guys for making my night ❤️❤️❤️

First off, the hours posted on Google (6pm-midnight/3:30am) are wrong. Their hours are 9am-4pm. This food truck may move around a bit, but they are mostly at 20th and Webster. The service is as fast as you can expect around lunch time. It took a while to get my order, but there was a huge crowd that already ordered before me. Just be patient, and show up earlier next time. It's cash only, and prices are reasonable. The burrito I ordered was fairly large, considering I got it without rice. It came standard with sour cream as well. You get a handful of chips, a taste of 'salsa' in a dipping container and few pickled carrots/jalapenos.

I went here Friday 08/29/2025 order a steak burrito and I was given a burrito with mystery meat.i asked for no cheese and had some type of creamy stuff inside of my burrito. I was hungry so I slammed the burrito trusting the vendor. Half way into the burrito I noticed it wasn't what I ordered. Fast forward to Saturday after getting off of work I had burning sensation in my stomach a huge knot.when I arrived home I started sweating and having hot flashes.I eventually vomited out the ingredients from the burrito and my stomach was still burning ..this lasted from the time I arrived home till 11pm. I should've taken a picture of the pool of vomit on my bedroom floor. Food poisoning not sure if it is the owner or operators ,but obviously someone doesn't have a good handlers permit to be working on a truck. Keep the...

It was late on one night, about 3 weeks ago, when I drove by this food truck and decided to stop to get some food and what a surprise!! The food is DELICIOUS 😋. The truck is parked on a parking lot in downtown Oakland so parking is not a problem, most of the time. Mexican food at it's Best! Selection is ENORMOUS. The down side of the deal is that basically you either take the food home or eat standing up in the lot (no chairs or table) or in your car! Whatever you decide it is WORTH the waiting of your order. Also be aware that you will find a line of customers waiting for their orders. Again I find it a lesser of a problem. When hungry for Mexican food I have found a new, and delicious, spot. My wife and I had Burritos but we are planning to return and try a different dish. Last thing the...
