We had a wonderful experience working with Margaret and her team to provide the food for our mother's memorial reception. From my first conversation with Margaret, she took a keen interest in the person whose life we were celebrating while also getting that we might not know exactly how many people would show up. She helped me think about having the food be a variety of offerings on several table that would enable people to taste wonderful and varied dishes (and work with our approximate number of attendees). She also listened with patience and love as I described the food my mom loved and our desire to offer those types of things.

Throughout the process as I came up with new ideas or made requests (and got a little nervous about everything working out well), she remained kind and patient and highly responsive.

The reception was amazing! People loved the food and its beautiful presentation. Everything was devoured, and I believe we had enough food. Her team's service was fantastic and attentive, and everything unfolded wonderfully well. We ended the day filled with the sense we had paid a fitting tribute to our beloved mom, and the reception we were re-connected and with so many people we have known for 50+ years and where we offered toasts and informal sharing about our mom was incredible (undoubtedly enhanced by the delicious food and wine served).

As well, Margaret recommended the florist we used, and the flowers were exceptional, both in the hall where we had the memorial and on the food tables and the bar.
