My experience at this gamestop and time of day was just excellent. Clean and organized. As for the customers service. It was great! Not to hard of a greeting but not to soft. Every employee looked happy to be there. I called in looking for a game. A female voice answered with a frienly opening voice. I asked about a game that i needed for a party that i was having that day. I needed some singing game for the PS4. They had it in store and she would hold it for me. As i arrived. Of course greeted. I started to look arond. I asked if i needed help for a singing games. The dude with the beard started to look for some games and had great feed back some good games. As i waited to be checked out employee were doing what employee do. Being employee at game stop. What else....anyway the other dude in the register was like a really cool dj. He knew how to talk. He asked me about reservation for up coming games. He looked up possible pre owned games to save me money which to me is a huge thing. Even minute before he ringing me up. The custmer in front of had concerns about resveration at another store. That dude took time to call that store 2 to 3 times to get a hold of another gamestop out of state. Thats whats up. Read moreFrustrating experience. my Dual-shock controller battery died and was not able to turn on or charge. Went here to buy a preowned DualShock controller for my ps4 . lord and behold It was also a faulty controller too. The controller could not pair wirelessly or turn on wirelessly. GameStop employee did not test the controller before being sold. They didn't even check the controller when the previous owner trade it in. I had a hard time searching for Ps4 controller replacement since they are sold out everywhere. I decided to get the PS5 controller and use it on PS Remote play on Mac instead. Another issue was that when I signed up for the Powerup rewards card I told the my Current number. When I came today to make my purchase they did not have my new number filed from yesterday. Read moreI have always been pleased until this time. I rarely go to gamestop since i buy all my games online. So my xbox gets fried due to a power outage, and i go online to buy a new one for in store pick up. Shows my store is open and lets me order it, tells me to wait to a “ready for pickup” notification, which never was sent. I ordered the xbox at 4:45pm. After waiting too long i decide to drive up there. I get there at 6:08pm to see they are closed, and normally closes at 6pm on Sundays. My problem is between the course of 4:45pm to 6pm, nobody thought to check my order and or call and say they're closing?! If i would have left earlier i probably would have got to pick it up. Bottom line is check the stores hours before ordering for in store pickup, because nobody will check or notify you otherwise.
