Dear Dairy,
Here I am, in a Dairy Queen, cooling off. What a time it is to reflect on my very recent stop at Kay in Ocala.
My visit to Kay is like The Mixing Bowl Blizzard, we scraped the bowl into our mouths because we couldnât waste a drop.
Our key Kay associate, Bradley, is a day making expert. We are only beginning our journey into engagement rings and our first step was like a city is to a country, so much success and so much information. We learned our ring sizes, sure, but we also learned that my fiancée, who never wears jewelry, has a lot of opinions about what her ring should look like.
We learned that Kay is partnered with Jared and Peoples. Meaning that the profile we created will follow us across land and store- like a good perfume or sticky fingers after a medium Blizzard.
Anyway, I gotta let my phone charge. Poor fella doesnât have any battery because the car I bought from some crook isnât turning out great. But thatâs another story.
Point is: KAY is oKAY in my book. I want to wear a tungsten ring from there and my fiancée thinks it would look good on...

I handed the watch for battery replacement, 25 minutes later they come with the watch lid in their hand saying that they could not put it back together. Sent me to WATCHES PLUS in the same mall. They confirmed the seal had been damaged and it will possibly leak water in. These two nice ladies at WATCHES PLUS worked on it other 25 minutes . They were able to close the watch again. The watch or the possible cost to repair it properly is not an issue for me. It Is the poor job and poor attitude towards me as a customer by people at Kay Jewlers. Very disrespectful. In conclusion, if you need to change your watch battery, go directly to WATCHES PLUS that they really know how to do it right. No...
Read moreJacob is very rude and needs to be trained in customer service. Was it all a bad day or just bad timing? Your employee was running late, you acted aggravated and disgusted that she/he should have been there already...
During our exchange of words.
You stated you had "11 years experience"... (25 years of being a customer here)
Jacob felt the need to express his opinion and try to give an explanation that this is "what happens when you use Affirm" (remember me)
I called you on your statement and you were apologetic after the fact. You knew where you were coming from with those words. You should be ashamed and reprimanded. KAY should be embarrassed and consider you a liability. I've called and spoken with your "headquarters" and I have my label. Thanks. Have...
