Northside Park was a nice park to visit for a change of pace from the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of benches throughout. Small dock for fishing the pond. Pavilion shaded with picnic tables by playground. Nice baseball fields. A dog friendly walking trail with doggie stations. Nice safe and decent size playground with good play structures. Restroom facilities attached to the concession stand as well as attached to the field house/concession stand for soccer fields by the wetlands walkway and a port-o-potty by the playground. Plenty of parking all around the walking trail to access the park. Some stationary workout equipment. A flag memorial. Kayak rentals available. Wide open fileds with grassy areas. Soda vending machines, water fountains, a concession stand for in-season baseball/softball games. Nice views throughout the park and definitely put on the Wetlands Pier. Best of all, it's absolutely...

I loved it at Northside Park! There was an event called Sundaes in the park on a Sunday and you paid like $4 and they gave you a bowl of ice cream and you could pull your own toppings on at the topping station and they also had a band playing on a big stage and the park was packed and then after the second set for the band there was fireworks and people are playing there was people fishing there's a huge playground to the kids are all playing on the playground everyone was just having a blast! I recommend if you're in Ocean City Maryland to check out the free things that are available and definitely take the opportunity to go to Northside Park during an event like this because...

This is a great park, among one of the better ones. I normally won't rate a park any less than a 5 unless it's really bad. I say that to say that I would give this 2 stars more than my typical 5 star review because it exceeds the average park. It has good bathrooms, plenty of space, a nice walking path, measured loop around the pond for running/walking purposes, it has a good fishing spot, paddle board rental location (& mini mini beach at the rental), an outdoor workout gym with exercise equipment, numerous ball fields, and of course a good children's play ground with some unique and creative aspects to it like a rock...

We love spending time in @oceancitymaryland! As a family on a budget we are always on the look out for free family fun. We just love how ocmd has so much to see and do for FREE. On of our favorite free things is “Sundae in the park” on 127th street. Bring the whole family, pack your blankets and chairs and grab a spot on the fields. Sit back, listen to music and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay. Then, watch the free firework display over the bay! 📍Northside Park 127th Street and the Bay ⏰Sunday Evenings 7 – 9 p.m. 🎆Fireworks start at 9( weather permitting) 💵Free Live Entertainment for Adults & Kids 🎼 music ranging from country to rock, tribute bands to oldies 🗓️June 11 – September 3, 202 🚽bathrooms available 🍦Drinks and ice cream available for purchase ❌ pier is closed during event, this is where they light off fireworks 🛝Playground is open 🧺 you can back your own picnic #ocmd #summer #maryland #vacation #fireworks
