Northside Pit & Pub — Restaurant in Ocean City

I’ve honestly never gotten such poor service before and I’m truly disappointed. Ronny was our server, and my group and I got seated first out of 3 groups of people, and we were the last who got greeted. We weren’t even greeted by our own server, and it took very long for them to come to us. The lack of communication from Ronny as a server did not make any form of sense to me. I myself work in the food industry as a server, and I know the feeling of when you have a group of teenagers sit in your section, subconsciously knowing you likely won’t get tipped enough for the amount of work you do for them. But a group of black teenagers should be treated the same as the groups of older white people around us. Everyone at my table noticed the lack of attentiveness from Ronny, and he received no tip as a result. The food, however, was amazing! My beef brisket sandwich was to die for, and the fries and were hot and crispy, so compliments to the chef. To think, if Ronny actually paid attention to the group of black teenagers that walked into the restaurant yesterday, the experience would have been good. As the only young black people in the building, it makes me wonder the kind of service I or my family/friends would receive if we were desperate...

WOW! You did it again. We come every year around this time of year. We get something different every time just to try other things. And my goodness, again, you did NOT disappoint! The place was busy, but the way the staff took care of everyone, it all kept moving, and not rushed. The staff acknowledged everyone in one way or another, and made it known they are grateful for you being there. Food: we got nachos with pulled pork (it is listed as an appetizer-it is a full meal lol) So good. Full of everything! Every bite had flavor! And also had the brisket tacos, delicious! Tonight we we sampled the many choices of pit and pub on the Northside. The hush puppies were probably the best I have ever had. The smoked wings with the honey old bay made me dream of world peace and puppies running free. The bacon wrapped scallops will transport you to parts unknown. I had the barnyard sample and could not be more pleased smoked chicken and ribs on one plate. No more having to choose, the possibilities are endless. I must say it was not everything was fantastic.

There was one thing missing that would have made our trip more enjoyable. That would have been to meet the one and only Nadine. We decided to dine at pit and pub after reading her many responses to customers and were sadden that she was not in. So if you're reading this Nadine please know...
