I was in this store tonight around 5:30. I returned an armchair pillow which was originally bought on a gift card. When the NICE woman gave me my refund, it was $.52 in Kohls cash and $22.57 on a merchandise credit. When I was leaving the store, I remember throwing my original receipt and refund receipt in their garbage can outside mens dept. When I got home, I looked for the gift card and couldn't find it. I called customer service and TRIED to explain my situation to the woman who answered the phone in customer service. I asked, since I lost GC, if it would show up on my Kohls app. She proceeded to argue with me, insisted I never returned the pillow I described, told me she knew that the tender I received was ALL Kohls Cash and not a GC. If she said, "ma'am," one more time to me on the phone, I was going to lose it. I told her I would go back to store, look in their trash and prove my refund tender. She then rudely ended the call! I went back to the store and found receipt with breakdown of my refund, in their trash. I talked to her upline and she immediately saw my receipt and issued me a GC. I told her I wanted an apology for inessence, being called a liar and hung up on! I proceeded to customer service and asked for an apology, showed her my receipt and the manager had indeed, pulled my returned pillow. She looked at me, said she'd never seen me before in her life and she would NEVER apologize. So, I took her name, she's an elderly woman named Jackie, who I later heard from other employees on the way out, tended to be condescending and rude. She asked me to ensure I stated she was a disabled vet, in my complaint. Coming from a family of veterans and having a brother that lost his leg in the Air Force, this didnt mean anything to me! She looked fine!! I will call Corporate on Monday! She doesn't deserve a job in Customer Service especially these days, when stores are going bankrupt! Kim and Fitzgerald are awesome and knew I was a good customer!! WAS, being...
Read moreHorrible customer service. They recently moved Amazon returns to the back service desk where Kohl returns are processed. The back corner has no wifi service. Sunday, long line & the guy is yelling for us to switch to Kohls wifi - which I did. No service when you get to the desk & the agent there acted dismissive saying it's a known issue but his manager put the returns there and now I need to screen shot the return QR to process it. I am not the only one with this issue - the woman prior had held up the line a good 5min waiting for a code to appear. I then ask for a manager, go find her & share the experience- her rude reaction & response was "I need to complain to corporate". No, I'm sorry - let me help you. Just indifference as she stared at a device. I said you need another router there or tell people before they waste 10min in line to have screen shots - again, she said to complain to corporate. She then proceeded to walk off - not help and saying she will tell her manager. Mind you, I was told to go to her because she was the Manager! They have zero customer service skills and have no idea how to solve problems - they just have you leaving frustrated. I never shop here and will not but if they can't even process an Amazon return then don't even bother with them. I will be complaining to corporate-...
Read moreWent to Kohl's to spend some money with my wife and two daughter's, thought it would be fun to buy some book bags and possibly a couple things they may need. they happened to find two book bags and a couple other things and we go to the register to check out the cashier looked at me then looked at the price of one of the book bags and reference the fact that the price was significantly high, I chuckled laughed and said the other ones only $10 less what is that supposed to mean. The sad thing is if my wife were in there alone she would never have asked and or referenced to the pricing of that book bag, it's sad that the world is only getting worse not better, it's scary for what my two daughters might have to endure in a future here on Earth. This isn't the first and I'm sure the last, but it's my first time...
