The path around the pond is shaded most of the day and good for a jog or a walk. Someone marked some distances on the path if that's important to a runner. Families are more likely to come at night and walk around so a morning jog would be less crowded with kids. There are a lot of ducks, but they won't chase or bother you.

There is a bowery, a small one by the pond and a large one up from the pond. It's a first come, first serve basis, no reservations. There are 2 fire pits by the pond, look into the fire status of the area at the local fire department before starting a fire. In dry seasons it's discouraged.

There is also a trail on the south side of the pond that connects to the Mount Ogden trail, it's not marked but fairly obvious.

Beus Pond connects with Forrest Green Park where there is a nice playground and swing set. Playground has wood chips. There is a short trail that connects the pond and the playground. Lots of open...

There's something wrong with the outlets at this park, period. They seem to only work with a low-power or something. Like, what I mean is if I plug in something that takes more than, let's say, 50 watts, the voltage drops significantly, like down to 80 volts AC. My battery charger that pulls 300 watts from the wall just acted like it charged instantly, but wasn't damaged.

I don't want to call the city because I feel like they would just come shut the outlets off. And like, I'm not a criminal, I just want to charge my phone. I'm not trying to charge or power anything that's illegal.

I was thinking of bringing an inverter, but I don't know if that's a good idea, because I also don't want to get caught because I'm not supposed to be camping here in the first place.

I guess I'm just wondering if there's any know...

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Path leads from Forest Green Park to walk along the pond and a great bench with a view. Almost positive we saw a turtle sunning on a far log. Some fishing going on but don't know if they were catching anything or what they would be catching. Good place for birding with different varieties of ducks, a pelican, red-winged blackbird. Friend with Merlin app identified eight sounds. Forest Green Park has playground equipment and picnic tables so here you have two different offerings in one location. Behind the Weber State Stadium area with many restaurants on Harrison if you don't bring...

Me and my family have always enjoyed this park. We love coming to feed the ducks. Any time I have ever came here it’s always been clean and there’s always trash cans and the bathrooms are always usable. The only complaint I would have is that people walk their dogs in there and they don’t pick up after their dogs when they poop. I walk my dog there all the time and I always take doggy bags to pick up after her. I wish everyone would do the same, it’s not hard.

I've been going to be spawn since I was a kid my mom always brought us here to feed the Ducks and walk the trail and it's always been a good time. This Pond is great because the fact that there is a lot of canopy cover. So even if it's really hot out you're not stuck in direct sunlight being cook like an egg. They're even a few inlets from little strings which is really cool for photo opportunities and dipping your feet in and cooling-off. I recommend. 👍😎

South Ogden has put in a year's worth of effort to add in a new bathroom by the playground, and repaved the main path. They also have added in a new rock wall and path off to the side of the main parking lot. Very nice pond to go walking around. There are ducks, geese and deer here frequently. The parking lot is small, I'd recommend parking by the grass field and walking up to the pond.
