OfficeMax — Attraction in Ogden

Ended up purchasing $150 worth of poster boards to be printed. Last week general manager of the store helped me in the print section to print posters. She had a new hire she was trying to help while helping us. Ended up printing our 24x36 poster on regular poster not foam board which is what we wanted. When I picked it up a guy helped me out and mounted on foam board for free. I offered to pay for it he said no worries. I really appreciated that. However the glue was not very well and it started peeling off the foam board. I needed this poster for my wedding. So I reprinted it with office max. I didn’t complain about the 24x36 being wrong or anything. I paid like a normal customer for a new poster . Today my mom picks up the poster and you can see the print marks from the rollers on the printer. She told the general manager about it. Especially since we have paid 50$ for this poster. General manager responds with “we have already printed this 4 or 5 time, obviously nothings going to make you happy” “we can take the poster back and refund you” my mom said no we need the poster we don’t want a refund we just wanted to address the quality. We also never asked for the poster to be reprinted. We placed an order for the new one. But apparently it didn’t come out good and so they reprinted it behind the scenes since the quality wasn’t good enough to give to us. We didn’t know this, we didn’t ask for a refund. We paid for every item we got. I called the store to address the attitude and how we have been treated. The manager of the print department was arguing with me about how much this had to be reprinted. I explained I am sorry but I didn’t ask for it to be. I paid for a new one when I wasn’t happy with the other one because he had already mounted the wrong one for free and tried his best. He was completely unprofessional. Told me to call corporate and hung up on me. 150$ to be treated horrible by managers of this store. Won’t ever print here again....

I've never experienced this level of avoidance and ineptitude. Went to fax and copy some things. Before I could finish my sentence a (old, grouchy) women flat out refused to help and pointed to the DIY machines.

Fair enough. Except only 1 worked. We tried to tell them only 1 machine worked. This old lady and you man actually avoided us. They stood and chatted. 100% unacceptable. I've been coming here since there was a sizzler in the parking lot and never experienced this.

I got my copies done (eventually as quite literally the employees ignored us) this is where it gets good. Other people started coming in. A line formed behind us at the copy machine. Other people started mentioning the other machine didn't work.

BAM...once they employees noticed several of us saying the same thing....they were magically able to help everyone from the counter.

My reviews have been seen millions of times throughout this country. I have left hundreds of reviews, hundreds of pictures. So I implore you to take this review seriously. Copy/print/fax is either unacceptably done here as a department or these employees need...

I have not been in this store for many, many years. The exterior & interior look the same. The interior of the store is older, but clean. The pavement of the parking lot is in dire need of repair. Luckily the products they carry & the employees that represent this store are much better! 😊 They sell an array of products, and product models/styles. Their prices are comparable to other merchants. During today's visit, I interacted with three employees. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, and did not seem put out by my many questions. 😊 One employee highly recommended a printer and showed me the product's perks. Unfortunately, they did not have it in their stock. I had to call their store in another city to find the printer. I had a good experience & will return to the store for future...
