This was my first visit to Scrambled and I will never come back. I live a little over an hour away and was heading to Salt Lake with my family. We stopped for breakfast and were excited to try Scrambled! It was crowded, which is a good sign, but a short wait in line. When it was our turn in line my wife walked up to the counter and placed our order, while I took my kids to sit down at the last open table. As we sat down one waitress asked if we needed another chair and said she'd bring one right over, then another waitress approached us and asked if we had ordered yet, I told her my wife was ordering and she looked over and asked i that was my wife at the counter I said yes. She then told me that we are not allowed to sit down until we've ordered and we need to get up, and there are signs posted that stated that. Which I understand and would have been happy to stand back up, but she shouted it loud enough that the whole restaurant was staring at us, so I walked over to my wife and whispered to stop ordering and we walked out. Read moreVisited the Ogden location today, Monday about 12:30 pm. Driving by on the weekends is very intimidating as the parking lot is always full. We understand why now.
The restaurant is clean and well laid out. It is comfortable and relaxing as it should be.
Greeted by Lexie, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. Food was over abundant. For us it will cover our dinner as well. I had the Vegan Bowl with a side of bacon, (I know, I know those 2 things don’t go together.). Cooked to perfection, customization was spot on. My husband had the Denver Omelette with a Scone. Also cooked to perfection. Soap Box: Our perfection is not the same as someone else’s and that’s okay. If it isn’t what you expected then ask for it to be changed, within reason. Don’t ding the restaurant because your tastes are different. Will definitely be return customers. Hats off...
Read moreI am always wanting to support local businesses, especially new that open up, as a Ogden Valley business owner and Realtor. It's Utah and we all love new local spots! I placed a delivery order that took 2 hours, that never showed up. I called the Staff prior to ordering to ensure this would not be an issue, as I live up in the canyon and informed them, Pineview is closed by the dam and to please go up the Divide. Well.....that did not happen. So $23.33 later and no refund, I unfortunately did not receive my Nutella Delight Scone....nor the iced coffee. As they came up Ogden Canyon and could not get past the dam. Therefore, I called the store back to see if they would make it right. To my surprise, no resolution was offered. No refund, no name in a book for next time, nothing. Not even an apology. A place I wanted to try, but will pass up now....
