I visited inside the tent that is set up outside for performances. It was huge and looked sturdy. Two bars were set up to serve 🍷🍻 drinks and snacks. A gift shop was inside. Parking 🅿️ lot was set up for vehicles going south ⬇️ or north ⬆️. I attended a performance of "Young Frankenstein" with Sally "Gloria Stivic" Struthures. I would grade it an A. The stage was huge with a very loud 🔊 sound system. They have a good lighting system. Bring your facemask, seat cushion and a debit/credit 💳 card for the bars. No cash allowed for payment. Bring a blanket in the fall. It can get chilly. Update: September 2024: The theater 🎭 has open for quite awhile. I attended a performance of "Little Shop of Horrors". The traffic was well organized though I was told to park in the wrong area. The crowd was well managed. I found my seat 🪑 quickly. The show was specifically produced for the Playhouse. It was well choreographed and the actors did a great job with their performances! I forgot how loud an audience could be! It seems more like they were attending a rock concert than a play. There were times where they drowned out the performers. A few people were plugging their ears. I recommend a visit!

Hadn't been to the Playhouse in about ten years (last time was to see South Pacific) but very happy to find that they survived the pandemic and are now able to have indoor shows again. They've updated their policy for mask wearing (you have to wear one inside at all times) and overall I felt safe. Covid is here for the long haul so we just got to do what we can as variants come and go. On a personal note: the audio was a little loud last night when we were there for The Cher Show, otherwise, while not the strongest musical, everyone involved did their best. It was pretty enjoyable if you like the music of Cher (and honestly, who doesn't?) All three actresses embodying Cher were wonderful. Hopeful to return and catch another show during the season. The economy seats are actually not too bad and still provide a good view of the stage, so there's some affordable options for folks like me who are on a budget.

Well I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard about the play house and driven by it many times over the years. Finally friends had decided that tickets would be bought and our group of 7 would go. It was fantastic. Loved, loved the performance of "KINKY BOOTS". This musical was absolutely amazingly fantastic. You were just swept up into the great singing ,the vocal performances excellent, just excellent. The message in the story line so true. At times your on the verge of crying and then you laughing and then your amazed. I highly recommend this show. I've been to a few plays over the years and believe me their are many that were very good but once was enough and some I wish I had not gone to ,but this performance of KINKY BOOTS I would go and see again, and again, and again . I highly recommend see it if you can . Pictures below.

10/18/2023 TOOTSIE! Go online and get your tickets now! This is one of the best plays I have seen here! I have been coming here for 20+ yrs. It’s absolutely hilarious! I highly recommend this show! 2 thumbs up, 10 must see! Actors were all amazing! Very much professional actors and top notch! This cast easily could be on broadway. I enjoyed the entire show and people are laughing and clapping all the way through it. The actor that plays Dorothy Micheals is absolutely amazing! This actor plays a female and male actors to get a part. Story is great and kept my attention all the way through. Singers and dancers are top notch. The set is phenomenal, excellent well done! BRAVO!
