Absolutely beautiful historic building with a wonderful collection representing Oklahomans who have contributed to the betterment of the world in a variety of capacities from sports, entertainment, civil rights, medicine, education & business.

Every inductee has their portrait or picture somewhere throughout the museum with their name, City & general contribution plus the year inducted into the Oklahoma Hall Of Fame. I think an added touch would be a longer synopsis of what each person did in more detail but I’m the curious type of person that will look them up to find out more information 👍🏻

There is an art gallery where the artist exhibits rotate periodically. The current exhibit “Spirit Of Color”, just started and runs to April 30th, 2020. Beautiful art that you can contact the museum about purchasing the items.

Originally built in 1926 for the Mid-Continental Life Insurance Company. I love that every door handle still contains the Mid-Continental emblem. The building is absolutely gorgeous, grand staircases on every floor & marble everywhere! You can even rent the location for private events & weddings. Unique venue with lots of beautiful photo opportunities.

This was my second time here. It’s a nice way to spend an hour or two...

Stately carved stone building, the MidContinent Life Insurance property has come to life again, with dedicated use as a free standing museum, honoring creativity in Oklahoma. Dually prepared by the Gaylord and Pickens families, this building has it's own collections which span electronic projections to live demonstrations to exhibits. It also has visiting exhibits, dedicated to varied related topics. So far, my favorite activity was the youth creative day, which allowed for performing artists, visual artists and those creating materials to come together for a day of kids celebrating kids. This includes an art show and sale, where the vendors are the youth from gradeschool to highschool ready to answer your questions and explain their work, techniques or use of product. This group also offers scholarships and other community activities year round. The spectrum of the celebrated runs from Wayne Coyne to Kate Barnard and about everything in between you can imagine. Also, the intact office for MidContinent a joy. :) along with behind the scenes info on renovations for this. This is a busy facility for weddings, and also for banquets and other...

Our wedding at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame was an absolute dream come true, thanks to the incredible team led by April, the Director of Special Events. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to say 'I do.'

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame was elegant and sophisticated, setting the stage for a truly memorable celebration. The venue's classic charm and versatile spaces provided the ideal backdrop for our special day, capturing the essence of our love story with every detail.

April took the time to listen to our vision, offering valuable insights to make our wedding day truly extraordinary. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care for our needs made us feel valued and supported throughout the entire process.

Our wedding at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame was nothing short of magical. We are forever grateful for their outstanding service, attention to detail, and the unforgettable memories they helped create. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines class, elegance, and exceptional service, look no further than the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Thank you, April, for making our wedding day a dream come...

This museum leaves a little bit to be desired if I’m being honest, I feel like maybe they could go a little more in depth or have a short biography about the locally (and some globally) famous characters that line the walls. There is one area/exhibit that expands upon a few of those more well known Oklahomans and gets a little interactive but as for the rest of the inductees, it’s mostly their name and portrait. I personally feel a little more background behind what led them to be chosen for the prestigious halls would greatly increase the interest for some people. In one room there was a print out that instructed you to surmise what was interesting or what made the subject famous by the context clues in the backgrounds of their portraits but that seems like something one would do more at an art museum than at a historical museum. As far as the children’s wing/exhibit (perfect for kids aged 2-10) they’ve done a fantastic job and even offered a story time the day we were there. They also have a great gift shop which almost completely hosts Oklahoma made products.

Our wedding at the HOF was truly amazing! April was fantastic, she checked in with us frequently, and helped us coordinate all the details. We hosted our reception in the garden, and the pictures turned out amazing. It was beautiful! They provided all the ammedities we could need and more. They even have different add-ons to choose from, so you don't need to worry about as many rentals. I'd highly highly reccomend hosting your weddings at the HOF!

What a wonderful museum! We came for the Summer Thursday and my child had a wonderful time. The facility was clean, the staff were kind, and there was plenty of fun activities and exhibits to keep my son entertained. Additionally, the story-time, craft, and scavenger hunt offered were all engaging and enjoyable activities for my kiddo! Super fun and such a beautiful museum.
