Good Times — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

So the vibe of Good times is usually really great and the food so it's a go-to spot for me but I never ordered a mixed drink so last night I decided to order one. That was the nastiest whiskey sour I've ever had in my entire life. there was almost no whiskey in it and they didn't ask me if I wanted a different whiskey. The person helping me seemed very unfriendly short and like they wanted to just get me processed and onto the next despite me having just walked in to celebrate my partners bday. The same person who made my nasty whiskey sour forgot to ring in my food and then a full 40 minutes later someone decided to come talk to us about the fact that my food had never gone to my table. Then I found out that they were out of what I ordered so then what I ordered was significantly smaller than what i ordered and was mentally prepared for. Then I was told it was going to be taken off my ticket since I had to wait for so long only to find this morning that the burger got taken off but not the fries. On top of all of this I was told to simply call back if I found any issues and I looked up the number online and also use the number on the ticket and neither one works so if I get this fixed I'm literally going to have to drive there instead of call when it should have all been handled in the first place. Needless to say I think that usually I have a good experience but whoever made me that drink their Vibes were really off last night and they were slacking and whoever tried to fix it please make sure that you are Thorough next time so I don't have to add this bar to my list of places that I can't go back to...

The good thing is that the burger that I did have albeit small was delicious the kitchen never misses the sweet potato fries are amazing and the replacement whiskey mule that I got was delicious and I would come there to try that again but I will literally never get a drink from that same...

Love good times! The roomy patio is designed really well so you can sit out there when the sun is out or when it's rainy. There is a fire pit and heating devices for winter. Outside tvs and games like big jenga. The inside is smaller with tvs and the decor emulates a hodgepodge of interests,textures,and colors which to me represents the mix of people I see in there.They have a simple but good menu with twists on some classics. Drinks can be as interesting or basic as you want. I like the adult pouches which is like a Capri Sun with your choice of base alcohol like rum or tequila. Also all of their hot drinks they do in winter are delicious. They have special nights for things like Rupauls Drag Race watch party and monthly cocktails and food specials that you can check out on their fb page. The only thing I'd say is I wish the drinks could be a little cheaper but they are usually worth it. What makes this place special is that it feels homey and not pretentious and not trying to be hip..it just is.
