Overall, bad customer service, and the accommodations are not kept up properly.
My husband and I were supposed to stay the night here on 7/25/25 for our anniversary in the Divine Providence room, but only lasted about an hour. When we arrived, we noticed it was pretty warm inside the front foyer and thought it was just because it's an old house. No one was around to greet us for a few minutes, but we could hear her talking on the phone in another room. When she came out to greet us, she barely confirmed who we were before handing us keys and giving vague directions to our room, plus conflicting information to the website regarding breakfast. We found our room, and the second we walked into the room, we realized it was pretty warm too. The old window A/C unit read 82 degrees. We quickly found a standing fan in the closet and set it in front of the window unit, hoping it would help redirect more air flow. The bed was very soft and sloped into the middle like it was old. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in several places. The bathroom had only 2 little sconces next to the vanity, with very dim bulbs in it. We had plans to go to a fancy dinner, so I was trying to get ready in the bathroom, and could hardly see. Found it super weird that the toilet, and soaker tub are right against the front windows of the house, with zero curtains to close in the night, so I guess you're supposed to hope no one walks by at night when you have to go to the restroom? We left the room about an hour later to go to our reservation, and the A/C unit still read 82 degrees. When we returned after dinner, it had only gone down to 81 degrees after another hour. At that point, we decided we could not put up with the heat to sleep in for the night, got our stuff and left to find another hotel for the night. The next day my husband called during business hours to request a refund, but only got the voicemail box, and left a message. We waited a couple of days to see if we'd get a call back, but nothing. He tried again on Tuesday 7/29/25, only to have his number sent directly to voicemail this time. So we figured I would try calling this time from my own phone number. Surprisingly, I got through immediately. I spoke to the lady, who never once introduced herself, and explained the situation and our desire for a refund. She told me that yes, I would be getting a refund to the card we paid with and it would take 1-3 business days to process, and that they realized Saturday morning that the A/C was down. I spent the next week checking our bank account everyday looking to see if the refund had come through yet, and by 8/7/25 it still had not. So I called back, the lady told me the refund had been processed on 7/31/25, and that it actually takes 2-3 business days to process, and that she would look into it for me. There was no offer of calling me back to let me know what was going on. My husband decided we were not going to get our money back from them, and started a dispute with our bank since they clearly have no intention of doing the right thing for us. I've waited to write this review because I was waiting to see what the outcome would be on their end, but clearly it isn't a good one. Avoid this place at all costs, it's in serious disrepair and...
Read moreZERO STARS!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I travel for work and stay all over the United States and this by far was the worst place I’ve ever booked. Started off by pulling up to this place and seeing bags of trash all over the back of the property. Then I started to notice all of the broken windows. I went inside and was given the key to my room. The room was filthy! Thick dust covered everything in the room. The door to the room was broken with a huge crack on top and bottom of the door. We had trouble locking the door. The towels were stained and smelled like mildew. The bedding was old and falling apart. The wallpaper was falling off the walls. The ceiling was collapsing in a huge area. When we booked this place we ordered the honeymoon package and the massage package. We were told 9 pm we would have our couples massage. At 9:20 pm no one had shown to give massages. We called Yvonne the manager and told her the woman never showed. She called us back 10 minutes later and told us we wouldn’t be getting our massages because the lady had a flat tire. At this point we were going to leave because this is the only reason we booked this place. It was my wife’s birthday and she wanted a massage. Yvonne then told us to please stay because the lady would be here at 9 am for the massage. So… we stayed and waited. At 9 am Yvonne knocked on our door and told us that she can’t get ahold of the massage therapist but told us that she (Yvonne, the manager) knew how to massage and that she could just give us one on the bed in the room. My wife told her that she can’t be massaging people without a license. We asked for a refund for the massage package and Yvonne was horribly rude. She expected us to pay for something we didn’t receive. After my wife told her we weren’t leaving until we had a refund she proceeded to tell us that she would have the police remove us from the property. All because we wanted a refund for services we never received. As we are explaining to the manager how we shouldn’t be charged for services not received the only other guest in the place came downstairs and said he had no hot water in his room! He had already stayed one night but wanted a refund for the next night because he was going to stay somewhere with hot water. Yvonne treated him horribly and told him all she could do was 20% off! Why not refund someone that isn’t going to stay due to there being no hot water? These people are complete scam artists. This place was a dump. The manager was horribly rude. Wouldn’t stay here again if I was...
Read moreSo sorry for this low rating but I feel I must be honest. It’s low because 1) the Omicron variant of Covid is spiking in OKC, however, staff was unmasked and seemed surprised that anyone would have a problem. 2) TV in the room did not work until we figured out how to run it through our personal cable subscription. 3) The bed was the most uncomfortable, lumpy bed we’ve ever tried to sleep on.||We were greeted in the reception area at check-in by a lady who was not wearing a face mask. We went upstairs and found a lady just finishing up cleaning our room (after 4 pm; checkout is at 10 am). She was also not wearing a mask and I do no think she had gloves on. She scurried to finish the room and had to return to grab her water from the fridge in our room. ||We wanted to watch the bowl games but the TV wouldn’t work. We called the front desk and they sent two men to our room to try and figure it out. Neither was wearing a face mask. They said that the prior property manager had set up the TV system but she departed in the summer so no one knew how to operate it (we stayed on January 1 🙄). They left and my husband figured out how to get service by inputting our personal cable PW into the system. The men returned, still unmasked, to tell us they still did not understand the system. I told them that we were scared of Covid so they needed to leave since they were not wearing masks. They appeared shocked that we would care.||The problem with the bed was due to an ancient foam topper. It had SO MANY lumps and ridges that we had a horrible night trying to sleep. I think the ridge in the middle of the bed was four inches higher than the rest of the bed. It was like trying to sleep on potholes.||As someone else mentioned, the closet is full of creepy old and dusty clothes. Breakfast is below average for a B&B—just small muffins, egg muffins, Yoplait yogurt, coffee and juice that is serve yourself. The breakfast may be affected by Covid, although we did not observe a typical breakfast room.||In my rating, I am factoring in the excellent quality of the room service dinner that we’d preordered. I had salmon and my husband had shrimp scampi. Both were perfectly seasoned and delicious, as were the desserts. The lady who served us was wearing a masks and gloves so that was a relief.||Again, I am sorry for this rating. I do understand the challenges of operating a B&B during a pandemic, however, masks, bed mattresses, and operational TVs should be SOP for a B&B...
