Penn Square Mall — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Update to my review. I visited Penn Square Mall for the first time since my review. I encountered a uniformed security guard who was unarmed. I asked him if he was mall security, mentioned that he was not armed and asked “What good are you?” He replied “Bye” My question in response to encountering an unarmed security guard was inappropriate and I apologize for it. That question is appropriately directed at mall management. Why not offer the customers and employees in the mall the protection of armed security? I will not be back.

From a public safety perspective, management is failing the public they serve.

While on a shopping trip at Penn Square we were approached by a security guard and asked if we were in possession of a firearm. We do not carry, but have an appreciation for those who do. Questioning the security person revealed that a scent was the reason for the question. We had just walked past two other guards who had a dog with them. I think that their dog needs more training. We had not been in contact with any of the things the security guard asked about.

Vigorously enforcing a “No Gun” policy will encourage rather than prevent a mass shooting. Whackos bent on making a name for themselves by a mass shooting prefer places where people are unarmed. If law abiding gun owners were the problem; believe me, you would know it. Last year, a mass shooter in a mall was “neutralized” by an armed shopper. Yes, please maintain visible armed security and quit wasting your resources on a dog with dubious skills that only serves to harass law abiding shoppers.

This is a review for RC ride on toys. You can’t miss them at the entrance and they seriously need to be shut down. Read their reviews before wasting your money. They deleted my review on their Facebook page and then blocked me so that I don’t expose them for the frauds that they are. We paid a deposit on a small motorcycle for our son. When we went to pick it up on his birthday, we were told the one we wanted was sold. Frustrated because we didn’t have any other gift ideas last minute, we allowed them to convince us to go with a taller bike that was more expensive. He gave it to us at the same price, but would not include the helmet we were supposed to buy at the price of $350. Nonetheless…Our son was overjoyed with his new toy. But not even a couple uses later, the gears broke…rendering the bike useless. The motor makes a horrendous noise but the bike does not move. I contacted them on Facebook and they read my message and ignored me. I gave them time to respond but that response never came, so I reached out again only to be ignored once again. Now we just have a hunk of plastic that does nothing. We have so many ride ons for our kids that have lasted years and never once has any broken on us, never mind in the first couple uses. This company is buying cheap china products in bulk at a very low price and marking up the price and stealing from customers when things go wrong. Do yourself a favor and remove the middleman altogether by going to the alibaba website yourself and buying 3-5 of these for the same price of...

It's definately a Simon mall, but this one looks better than some others. I didn't think that was possible. They have some stores that you definately wouldn't expect in any mall, especially a Simon Mall! They even have 2 Dillard's! The bad part is that no music was playing in the entire mall, not even at the food court, even though the tvs were showing the names of certain songs like they were playing music videos!!! Also, there is at least 1 water bottle filling station, but the only 1 I saw had a dirty filter because the filter status was RED!!! This was at the Food Court restrooms. These were the only restrooms I went to, which is why it was the only water bottle filling ststion I saw. THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE FILTER ON THIS WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATION!!!! SOMEONE COULD GET VERY, VERY SICK FROM DRINKING DIRTY WATER!!!! When a business buys a water bottle filling station, they are required to replace the filter BEFORE it goes to RED!!! If they don't do this for ANY REASON, then they don't deserve to have a water bottle filling station because it shows their customers that management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEM!!!! I would expect Simon Malls to replace the filters the exact second they shows signs of being the least bit dirty!!! This is very bad on their part! THIS IS A HUGE DEAL!!!! SIMON MALLS NEEDS TO GET THIS FIXED AND NEVER LET IT...
