Dogtopia of Olathe — Attraction in Olathe

My fur baby has been going there since she was 12 weeks old, she is now a year and half and she LOVES THIS PLACE. She even knows the route we take and starts getting excited the closer we get to it. The management and staff are so loving, kind, friendly and truly care about all the fur babies as well as me as the parent. They have various activities during the month for the pups like taking their pictures; having arts & crafts days (which I love getting) as well as special treats days. They also have a weekly Spa Day; I take advantage of it monthly. I get on their Web Cam while I’m at work sometimes and watch the pups playing around and having a great time; or sometimes they are just sleeping while others are running around playing. It is nice to see them all having so much fun together. I recently had to board her for the first time and was a little anxious about it, not knowing how she would handle it, but she handled it just fine. They took great care of her. As you can see, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, and you won't be disappointed if you choose them. If I could give more stars I would. We could not be happier with Dogtopia of Olathe. The staff knows our pup by name and greets her excitedly each time. I really like that they have fewer dogs in the room which decreases the over stimuli. Our dog has seizures and this greatly reduces the likelihood of a seizure occurring. The cameras are extremely high quality and you can easily make out your dog. The workers give plenty of attention to the dogs and are always moving around (making sure my dog keeps moving since she loves to follow people). Their bath service is great as well. They ensure they have your pup washed and fully dry before you get there and the shampoo they use smells amazing! I really enjoyed being able to take a tour of the facility on our first trip. The daycare staff were very attentive to all of the dogs during playtime. They were able to deescalate situations when needed and put the dogs up for "me time" for an appropriate amount of time. We really liked how there didn't seem to be too many dogs in the room at one time and the canine coach was always walking around and interacting with the dogs. We appreciated the take home folder that was sent home on our dogs first day that allowed us to be able to learn more about the facility and how our dog did throughout his first day. All of the staff members answered all of our questions to the fullest during our tour and were all friendly and professional. After coming from a daycare that we were not satisfied with at all we were nervous taking our dog to a new daycare.
