I feel that a little background info is relevant for all of you lovely people to understand my love and appreciation for my guys at S2 of olathe.

1. Being a short fluffy nerd most of my life has made me intimidated by athletic/gym/health type people.
2. Health/genetics have never been on my side and made made me feel like no matter how much work I put in, it would never be enough.
3. Just the right kind sensory input is very important in my food. If it feels bad it becomes gross.
4. I have severe anxiety when it comes to choices. So, the first time I went in to S2 I was there for moral support of a friend and as I listened to Blake help my friend I was thinking "wow this man sounds like he knows his stuff" (wow what an understatement that sounds like now). I go home and some of the things he said just click and sound like they could work for me even though at this point I felt like I had tried it all and failed. I figure what the heck here goes nothing and decied to go back the next day. Little did I know that i would find " My place". A place where i have found encouragement and understanding. Blake worked on my meal plan and got all science-y with me. This man really knows how to break down the workings of the most complex machine (the human body) so anyone can understand what to do and how to do it. He knows how to adapt to every level of motivation, mood, or emotion I have come in with. He's gives me just enough options to keep me from feeling overwhelmed, I need options but not too many. Its a science, I swear! Then a few weeks latter we added in some shakes and supplements and here comes my sensory savior, The Mayor of Flavor Town (AKA Austin) who has been able to see to my every flavor craving or sensory taboo. These guys are amazing!! I didn't even have full conversations with Bobby or Nick before they knew my name and were giving me encouragement and just being all around helpful and amazing parts of "my team". Let me start by saying I never leave reviews but this store truly deserves my time to write this. Below are the reasons why I will be a customer for life.

Trustworthy and helpful staff- Blake truly cared about my goals. I told him I was going to buy a supplement and he said “don’t waste your money on that, it doesn’t fit your goals”. This staff truly had your best interest at heart and wants to see you succeed. Never once did this staff try to push me to buy something. Every staff member has a degree in some sort of health related field. Blake spent hours of his time giving my girlfriend and I our own unique food plan to reach our goals. This service was completely free by the way. Education- Blake educated me on how to pick the best quality protein powder and described scientifically why these supplements were the best. After my visit to the store, I walked out a lot more knowledgeable on how the supplements I take actually help me reach my goals. Have a completely free top end body scan machine. You stand on the machine and it tells you everything you would possibly need to know about your body. This is a free service and it helps you know if you’re doing enough to reach your goals or if changes need to be made. Supplements are fairly priced. With all of the free services this store offers, they could easily Jack up their prices. However, they keep their prices lower than any other store I’ve visited around the area. I heard about Supplement Superstores from a radio ad about 2 years ago. When I ran out of my favorite protein powder and couldn't get the same one I decided to try supplement superstores. When I walked in I was greeted by each member of staff individually. I browsed for a bit and wasn't quite sure what to look for. A gentleman named Nick approached me and asked what I was looking for. I explained my situation and what my goals were. He was very helpful and pointed out a couple powders that he thought matched my needs. We took a look at them and narrowed it down to one. He mixed up a sample and let me try it right there. Nick also pointed out some other supplements that would boost both my pre and post workout routines. He was never pushy or overstepped on his attempts to sell me extras. He explained the body scans are always free and gave me a single free sample of ignition which I enjoyed and will probably pick up some on my next visit. Overall the store is great. They help you identify the things you need and things you probably don't. Fast service and great personality of staff. I definitely recommend supplement superstores if you need any protein powders. Their selection is giant and they'll most definitely have what you need. Prices are reasonable for what you're buying.
