I was dropping off my little fur baby at his grooming appointment the other day and needed a place to work while he was sitting in the "lap of luxury". I decided to give this Panera a try.
Upon my arrival I noticed that there was plenty of parking, the building was huge and they had a beautiful outdoor sitting area.
When I walked up to the counter to order the lady working was so very sweet. She greeted me with a huge smile and asked how she could help. I'd eaten a little earlier in the day but would feel like a "jerk" not ordering something, while sitting there sucking up some of their WiFi. So, I ordered a Caesar Salad 🥗 with extra dressing and parmesan cheese. Don't y'all start with me 🤣 - y'all KNOW I LOVE my extras.
I proceeded to wait on my order and an equally friendly man presented my order across the counter. He was very personable and the presentation of the food made my salad look like it was a gourmet treat.
As I walked to a table I noticed how clean everything was. No crap on the tables or the seats. No trash all over the floor and the trash area itself was quite tidy. It was nice and quiet and the music wasn't obnoxious and loud. Me and another gentleman complimented each other's humming voices while we shared a mutual vibe groovin' to an old skool classic.
I tore into that delicious salad and enjoyed every morsel. That's probably why I didn't think to take a picture of it until it was at least half way gone. My bad!
To wrap this up check this Panera out if you're in the area. The staff is wonderful, the presentation and quality of the food is impeccable, there's plenty of seating options indoors and outside and it's clean as a whistle. Gon' ahead and get you a Caesar Salad too, with all the "extras" your heart...
Read moreThis whole experience was a mess. I don't usually come to Panera but I had a gift card so yesterday I made an order and created an account online. I got a sandwich and chips, large drink and 2 cookies (because 1 was free). When I checked out I put in my gift card but it also had me add a credit card in case the gift card didn't work or if the gift card didn't have enough money on it. The order screen said my food was ready, so I drive to the store, go to the shelf and my order isn't there. I went up to the counter where a girl was standing and she didn't acknowledge me at all. I stood there a few seconds because she was doing something, but she clearly knew I was there. I said "excuse me" and asked where my order was. She asked for my name and a couple minutes later someone else came from the back and also asked for my name. That person then went and got a bag and handed it to me. I told her I also had a drink, and she handed me a cup. I went over to fill my cup and opened the bag just to make sure everything was there but there were no cookies. I went to the counter where they put up the food and told the guy my cookies were missing and he got them for me. Today I see that my bank card was charged for the whole amount, not my gift card. The website said nothing when I made the order about which card was charged, so I was not aware of any issues with the gift card. Checked the gift card balance and I still have $20. Overall, while the food was really good, the whole experience with the website and...
Read moreCame in on a Sunday on the way to church. Ordered coffee and a toasted bagel with butter via the automated/self-serve kiosk. After I paid for it, I went to the coffee bar to fill up and prepare my to-go cup. Hadn't even filled up my cup when they brought my bagel over in a sack, reached into the bucket for the self-serve butter packets that were there, put them in the sack and handed me the sack.
Here's the problem I have with that: I ordered a toasted bagel with butter. That means I want the bagel adequately toasted with the butter evenly coated and melted into the bagel when I get it. What I got was a bagel that couldn't have been in the toaster more than twenty to thirty seconds, because it was barely warm, with absolutely no darkening of the bread (Indicative of actual toasting). Then you threw some wrapped butter patties, which were FROZEN in the container at the coffee bar, into my sack for ME to put on the bagel. So I have to either a) hurry and put the frozen butter on my bagel before the warmth of the flash toasting goes away (which won't work, because as soon as I start trying to spread it, it will just tear the bagel to pieces) or b) wait until the butter thaws to a spreadable temperature so it doesn't tear up the bagel, at which point the bagel will be room temperature.
Coffee, as always, was delicious and hot. But if toasting and buttering a bagel is that hard to accomplish, this Sunday I'll leave five minutes earlier and make the drive...
