I’m a regular (sometimes daily) customer of this Chipotle. Their food is generally pretty good; however the SERVICE, on the other hand (or lack thereof), is seriously causing me to reconsider what many favorite lunch-time spot is...
The older Hispanic ladies (that typically work during the lunch and evening shifts), are NOTHING but a pleasure to deal with. They are always nice, always know what I want, and sometimes will even help me find a cheaper way to put together the weird ingredients list of things I call lunch. There is a young lady who appears to be not Hispanic, but oriental maybe; she is always very nice, and has even told me how to order my chicken and rice only lunch as a “chicken 3 pointer” and that saves me $3 each time. That I was grateful for. Also, there is a white guy who works there, maybe middle-aged, glasses. He ALWAYS is very nice to me, and always glad to see him working whenever I come in.
Unfortunately; I have been encountering some staff on my last few visits that really have me reconsidering my position on this store. As previously mentioned, I was advised by the (very sweet, i think oriental), lady, about ordering my meal as the chicken 3 pointer; whenever I came in the next day and ordered it as such, (normally, its almost 2 scoops of chicken, and rice (1 bowl @ $5.50), and I request extra chicken (1 @ $2.20) for a total of $7.50. Whenever I came in the next day, and ordered a “chicken 3 pointer”, and there was a young man (who I think may have been training, which is no big deal), and another lady (older white lady) was standing next to the register. Please keep in mind, I had just been informed the day PRIOR to order it as, CHICKEN 3 POINTER.
So when my bowl gets down to the salsa station, where the cheese, salsas, and lettuce are added; I noticed the gentlemen in training had only put barely even a scoop onto the bowl. When I asked them to be sure to add chicken to this, the lady very rudely told me “if you want extra chicken, you have to pay for it.”, insinuating that I was attempting to scheme them or gain something without paying for it. This is when I started to feel offended. I advised the lady that I had been told just the day prior, that I was just trying to get a “chicken 3 pointer”, which the day before, I was told that it was the precise thing I had been ordering, and you basically are just taking extra chicken in the place of all other toppings. Which, made sense, and I appreciated.
But when I told this lady that I was told to order it as such; she then snapped back and told me, “I dont know what you are talking about, but if you want extra chicken, again, you will have to pay for it.”
By now, I’m getting upset.
Not only did the gentlemen in training see that when confusion arises, the best option is to not only ARGUE with a daily customer; but to accuse them of trying to be slick, as well.
I have my receipts for the last few days, and I’m going to take those surveys on there. The only people who are going to get any kind of kudos, are the ones who are doing their jobs and just being nice to me as I would expect, from someone who’s place of employment, I so choose to be a patron of their job, which you would THINK would go hand in hand with, idk, KEEPING your job..?! By keeping your customers happy; but apparently, this person missed that memo.
I understand that not everyone is always having a great day; and you never truly know what another person may be going through; however; I do NOT think that should matter whenever you clock in to go to work. If a company/person is paying you to do a job with a certain attitude and accuracy; I do not think it is unfair to ask, just as a customer of a place that I like to support, that its not crazy to just want to be treated as if they appreciated my business. If it wasn’t for the oriental lady who helped me that I spoke of earlier; and the older white guy with glasses; I would have made the decision to never return there again.
When I go to chipotle, I just want lunch; not an argument with a...
Read moreI had placed an order online @8:30 pm my order time was to arrive at 8:58 pm. Well about 9:20 pm i tried calling the store and no answer. So i contacted door dash about my order to be canceled. They couldn't cancel my order and tried to reach out to the store with no response. So they called me back saying order had been canceled. So I'm closing up the store and get a call from a California number who couldn't speak good English and hangs up on me. I call the number back and asked who are they looking for he said it's door dash. So I forgot i had set the alarm on the building and was trying to get the food from this guy that shows up at 11:00 pm with ice-cold food. To make things worse the police shows up thinking I'm a criminal trying to break in my own store. First off you need to contact the person who placed the order to let them know that their order is going to be longer than the estimated time given. I understand the weather is bad but my business is only 3 miles away from Chipotle that's a five-minute ride give or take. It's not like i could go pick it up i have a business to run and employees to look after. I will be calling the owner and the District manager for...
Read moreWe eat at Chipotle RELIGIOUSLY. We usually frequent the Chipotles on 95th ST, 87th St and Shawnee Mission Pkwy and usually eat once a week, occasionally biweekly. Never had a complaint. UNTIL TODAY. The girl served my daughter and I first. My husband always go last. I stared in disbelief as she put a very little amount in my bowl. I asked for more cauliflower rice and stated I don’t get beans or cheese. She rudely slapped more cauliflower rice and added 3 more slivers of peppers and moved the bowl aside. My 6 yr old ordered an adult steak bowl with hardly anything in it. I tried to get my husbands attention but it was loud and with the masks, he couldn’t hear me. I weighed it when we got home on our food scale. 7 oz! With the cardboard container and chz. She added more chz to cover up the fact nothing else was in the bowl. A tiny bit of rice, steak and a glob of cheese for $8.35! Oh and my husband? His portions were fine! If you’re a man, keep coming here. You’ll get treated great. Females on the other hand, do not. Now if you’ll excuse me I need to make my daughter...
