We hadn't been to IHOP in years, but while in the area for an appointment & with very few places being open super early in the morning, we swung by. Somehow, we both ended up ordering dinner options instead of breakfast, but were happy we did. The Hubby ordered steak & shrimp (his only complaint was that they didn't have cocktail sauce at this location for his fried shrimp). I adore buffalo sauce, so when I saw they had a buffalo chicken sandwich, I had to go that direction. It was one of the better buffalo chicken sandwiches I'd had in a long time. I ordered fresh fruit as my side, in the hopes of my healthier side option erasing my carb loaded main course... LOL. The fruit was even yummy, which seems to be hard to find at many places. The service while we were here was fantastic. Our waitress had just transferred here from another location (can't remember her name, but she did an A+ job). 100% recommend👍🏼! After our experience here, we'll definitely choose IHOP over our usual Waffle House or Denney's, when one is in the area...
Read moreIHOP 2:30am what a pleasant surprise. Greeted and seated immediately. Server promptly offered coffee. Assistant manager Valery was above and beyond what I would expect at 2:30am. She she was gracious, accommodating.. quite an asset for IHOP. My server was Spring who was also very efficient. Comparing today's visit with previous visits at 119th Metcalf & 91st Metcalf IHOP's I was amazed at the difference in the service, cleanliness, quality of food and the overall feeling of being treated as a guest ( not as a customer ). All IHOP 's should use this crew to train all that they hire. Now the real shocker!!!! They actually answer their telephone. Try that at any other late night restaurant, IHOP, DENNYS, STEAK N SHAKE shame on you. You advertise orders to go but a person can't order them because the phone is not answered. Well it is answered at 119th &...
Read moreExcellent place to shop and eat in the sprawling shopping and entertainment area off of 119th and Strange Line Road. I generally just hit up the Aldi's grocery store (5 stars) and the IHOP (4-1/2 stars) but there are plenty of other restaurants and shops in this section of the intersection. (Well, that turned into a "Conjunction Junction" little rhyme, didn't it?). Just the Aldi's is worth making a trip here but I admit that I chuckled when I read about the weird layout of the parking lot in another person's review. It really does seem like it was laid out by a drunk guy as there are all these little twists and turns that don't need...
